Klaim konstruksi adalah sebagai sebuah permintaan atau permohonan karena adanya ketidaksesuaian/perselisihan. klaim pada konstruksi dapat terjadi jika salah satu faktor klaim terjadi. industri konstruksi memiliki karakteristik yang unik dan berbeda dengan industri lainnya, dengan kondisi yang semakin kompleks saat ini baik ditinjau dari segi bidang pekerjaan, standar-standar maupun teknologi yang digunakan. salah satu pihak yang terlibat di dalam pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi itu sendiri adalah kontraktor (penyedia jasa). penyebab klaim dapat dikelompokan atas sebab umum, sebab-sebab dari pengguna jasa, sebab-sebab dari penyedia jasa. dalam pelaksanaannya proyek konstruksi membutuhkan upaya dalam meminimalisir potensi terjadinya klaim konstruksi, agar proyek yang dikerjakan dapat terselesaikan dengan tepat waktu, memenuhi mutu yang telah disepakati, dan juga biaya. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang paling dominan berpotensi dalam menyebabkan timbulnya klaim dalam pelaksanaan konstruksi di kabupaten bireuen, dan responden dari penelitian ini adalah kontraktor. metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah survey, dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada kontraktor dengan kualifikasi (kecil dan menegah) di kabupaten bireuen. penelitian ini berlangsung dari bulan maret sampai dengan september 2022. teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah analisa deskriptif dan nilai rata-rata (mean). penelitian ini telah berhasil mengidentifikasi faktor yang berpotensi paling dominan timbulnya klaim yaitu faktor dari penyedia jasa dengan nilai perhitungan mean sebesar 91% yang terdiri dari 4 indikator yaitu pekerjaan yang cacat mutu dengan skor 90%, keterlambatan penyelesaian dengan skor 93%, kegagalan subkontraktor dalam menjalankan tugas sesuai dengan waktu yang ditentukan dengan skor 92%, dan pekerjaan yang tidak sesuai spesifikasi dengan skor 89%.

Construction claims are as a request or request due to a discrepancy/dispute. Claims on construction can occur if one of the claim factors occurs. The construction industry has unique characteristics and is different from other industries, with conditions that are increasingly complex at this time both in terms of the field of work, standards and technology used. One of the parties involved in the implementation of the construction project itself is the contractor (service provider). Causes of claims can be grouped into general causes, causes from service users, causes from service providers. In the implementation of construction projects requires efforts to minimize the potential for construction claims, so that the projects undertaken can be completed on time, meet the agreed quality, and also costs. This study aims to determine the most dominant factor that has the potential to cause claims in construction implementation in Bireuen Regency, and the respondents of this study are contractors. The method used in this study was a survey, by distributing questionnaires to contractors with qualifications (small and medium) in Bireuen Regency. This research takes place from March to September 2022. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and the mean value. This research has succeeded in identifying the factors that have the potential to be the most dominant in the emergence of claims, namely factors from service providers with a mean calculation value of 91% consisting of 4 indicators, namely work with quality defects with a score of 90%, late completion with a score of 93%, subcontractor failure in carrying out tasks according to the specified time with a score of 92%, and work that does not meet specifications with a score of 89%.
