Analisis vehicle kilometers travelled (vkt) terhadap terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas pada masa covid-19 dan new normal (studi kasus: kota banda aceh) fakhrullah rizqy muhammad nim 2004201010020 program studi magister teknik sipil jurusan teknik sipil - fakultas teknik universitas syiah kuala abstrak seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah pergerakan moda transportasi di kota banda aceh pada masa new normal, telah diikuti dengan bertambahnya angka kecelakaan lalu lintas. hal tersebut sangat dipengaruhi oleh kilometer kendaraan yang ditempuh atau vehicle kilometers travelled (vkt). vkt oleh kendaraan bermotor pada sistem jalan raya selama masa new normal relatif lebih panjang dengan jumlah pergerakan yang banyak dibandingkan vkt pada masa pandemi covid-19. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan sosio demografis terhadap kecelakaan lalu lintas selama masa pandemi covid-19 dan new normal, mengetahui perbedaan jarak perjalanan dan jumlah perjalanan selama masa pandemi covid-19 dan new normal, dan mengetahui pengaruh jarak perjalanan dan jumlah perjalanan terhadap terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas selama masa pandemi covid-19 dan new normal di kota banda aceh. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kuantitatif melalui pengisian kuesioner pada 400 kk yang berdomisili di kota banda aceh. pergerakan yang ditinjau adalah pergerakan pengguna kendaraan berdasarkan home base trip saat masa pandemi covid-19 dan new normal. sosio demografis yang ditinjau meliputi jenis kelamin, umur, pendidikan terakhir, pekerjaan, kecamatan, dan jenis kendaraan pribadi yang sering digunakan. teknik sampling digunakan proportionate stratified random sampling. teknik analisis data digunakan statistik deskriptif, uji korelasi eta, uji paired sample t test, dan regresi logistik. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan sosio demografis terhadap kecelakaan lalu lintas selama masa pandemi covid-19 yang signifikan adalah pekerjaan dan kecamatan, sedangkan selama masa new normal yang signifikan adalah kecematan. jarak perjalanan dan jumlah perjalanan selama masa pandemi covid-19 dan new normal terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. selama masa pandemi covid-19, probabilitas rata-rata responden pernah terjadi kecelakaan lalu lintas sebesar 50,76% dan tidak pernah terjadi kecelakaan lalu lintas sebesar 49,24%. sementara selama masa new normal, probabilitas rata-rata responden pernah terjadi kecelakaan lalu lintas sebesar 64,93% dan tidak pernah terjadi kecelakaan lalu lintas sebesar 35,93%. kata kunci: vkt, sosio demografis, jarak perjalanan, jumlah perjalanan, kecelakaan, pandemi covid-19, new normal



Abstract

ANALYSIS OF VEHICLE KILOMETERS TRAVELLED (VKT) ON TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS IN THE COVID-19 AND NEW NORMAL PERIOD (Case Study: Banda Aceh City) Fakhrullah Rizqy Muhammad Student Number 2004201010020 Master Program of Civil Engineering Civil Engineering Department of Engineering Faculty University Syiah Kuala Abstract Along with the increasing number of movements of modes of transportation in the City of Banda Aceh during the new normal period, this has been followed by an increase in the number of traffic accidents. This is greatly influenced by the vehicle kilometers traveled or Vehicle Kilometers Traveled (VKT). VKT by motorized vehicles on the road system during the new normal period was relatively longer with a large number of movements compared to VKT during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the socio-demographic relationship to traffic accidents during the Covid-19 pandemic and the new normal, to determine differences in travel distance and number of trips during the Covid-19 pandemic and new normal, and to determine the effect of travel distance and number of trips on the occurrence of accidents. traffic during the Covid-19 pandemic and new normal in Banda Aceh City. This study uses a quantitative method approach by filling out questionnaires on 400 family card who are domiciled in the city of Banda Aceh. The movement under review is the movement of vehicle users based on home base trips during the Covid-19 pandemic and the new normal. The socio-demographics reviewed include gender, age, last education, occupation, district, and the type of private vehicle that is often used. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics, eta correlation test, paired sample t test, and logistic regression. The results showed that the significant socio-demographic relationship to traffic accidents during the Covid-19 pandemic was work and sub-districts, whereas during the new normal period the significant one was congestion. There is a significant difference between the distance traveled and the number of trips during the Covid-19 pandemic and the new normal. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the average probability of respondents having had a traffic accident was 50.76% and that there had never been a traffic accident was 49.24%. Meanwhile, during the new normal period, the average probability of respondents having had a traffic accident was 64.93% and 35.93% had never had a traffic accident.
