Pada penelitian ini akan dibahas cara menggambar beberapa jenis fraktal. fraktal berasal dari bahasa latin fractus yang artinya “patah”, “rusak”, atau “tidak teratur”. kata ini ditujukan untuk objek matematika yang sangat tidak teratur sehingga objek tersebut tidak dapat digolongkan ke salah satu bentuk geometri klasik. ciri khas utama pada gambar fraktal adalah apabila diperbesar akan kembali terlihat seperti semula, berapakalipun pembesaran dilakukan. dan gambar yang dihasilkan adalah simetri dengan dirinya sendiri (self similarity). gasket sierpinski, himpunan julia, dan himpunan mandelbrot merupakan beberapa contoh dari fraktal. dalam hal ini akan dirancang algoritma untuk menggambar ketiga fraktal tersebut. seluruh proses pembentukan gambar gasket sierpinski, himpunan julia, dan himpunan mandelbrot dilakukan dengan menggunakan bahasa c++. kata kunci: fraktal, gasket sierpinski, himpunan julia, himpunan mandelbrot.

In this research, we will discuss how to draw several types of fractals. Fractal comes from the Latin fractus which means ”broken”, ”broken”, or ”irregular”. This word refers to mathematical objects that are so irregular that they cannot be classified into any of the classical geometric shapes. The main characteristic of fractal images is that if they are enlarged, they will return to their original appearance, no matter how much magnification is done. And the resulting image is symmetrical with itself (self similarity). The Sierpinski Set, the Julia Set, and the Mandelbrot Set are some examples of fractals. In this case an algorithm will be designed to draw the three fractals.
