Infeksi yang disebabkan oleh bakteri yang resisten terhadap berbagai antibiotika (multidrug-resistance/mdr), telah menimbulkan kekhawatiran dalam dunia kesehatan karena berpotensi pada peningkatan patogenitas dan kesulitan dalam pemilihan terapi. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi keberadaan multidrug-resistance klebsiella pneumoniae pada ayam broiler di teaching farm japfa ie suum, aceh besar. sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil dari swab tenggorokan 50 ayam broiler. penelitian dilaksanakan dengan metode carter, yang meliputi pengamatan morfologi koloni, pewarnaan gram, penanaman pada media diferensial dan selektif serta uji biokimia. hasil isolasi dan identifikasi bakteri, dilanjutkan dengan uji konfirmasi menggunakan uji aglutinasi dan polymerase chain reaction. uji sensitifitas antibiotika dilakukan dengan metode kirby bauer disc diffusion. hasil dari penelitian ini berhasil mengidentifikasi 2 isolat klebsiella pneumoniae. hasil uji sensitivitas antibiotika menunjukkan bahwa kedua isolat ini telah mengalami resistensi dengan antibiotik tetrasiklin, siprofloksasin, eritromisin, gentamisin, dan klindamisin, tetapi masih sensitif dengan antibiotik kloramfenikol. berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa telah terjadi penyebaran multidrug resistance klebsiella pneumoniae pada peternakan ayam broiler di teaching farm japfa ie suum, aceh besar.



Abstract

Infections caused by multidrug-resistance (MDR) bacteria have raised concerns in the health world due to the potential for increased pathogenicity and difficulty in selecting therapy. This study aimed to detect the presence of Multidrug-Resistance Klebsiella pneumoniae in broiler chickens at Japfa Ie Suum Teaching Farm, Aceh Besar. The samples used in this study were taken from the throat swabs of 50 broiler chickens. The study was conducted using the method of Carter, which includes observation of colony morphology, Gram staining, cultivation on differential and selective media and biochemical tests. The results of isolation and identification of bacteria, followed by confirmation test using agglutination test and Polymerase chain reaction. Antibiotic sensitivity test was carried out by Kirby Bauer disc diffusion method. The results of this study successfully identified 2 Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates. The results of the antibiotic sensitivity test showed that both isolates had experienced resistance to the antibiotics tetracycline, ciprofloxacin, erythromycin, gentamicin, and clindamycin, but were still sensitive to the antibiotic chloramphenicol. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there has been a spread of multidrug resistance Klebsiella pneumoniae in broiler farms at Japfa Ie Suum Teaching Farm, Aceh Besar.
