Kendala yang menjadi penghambat proses produksi benih ikan kakap putih salah satunya adalah infeksi jamur saprolegnia sp. bahan alami yang dapat mencegah terjadinya infeksi jamur pada telur ikan yaitu daun pepaya (carica papaya l). tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak daun pepaya terhadap infeksi jamur pada telur ikan kakap putih serta dosis yang optimal untuk mengobati infeksi jamur tersebut. penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan april-mei 2023 di balai perikanan budidaya air payau (bpbap) ujung batee, kabupaten aceh besar. metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu rancangan acak lengkap (ral) terdiri dari 6 perlakuan masing-masing 3 ulangan. konsentrasi ekstrak daun pepaya yang digunakan meliputi 0 (kontrol positif dan negatif), 2 ml/l, 4 ml/l, 6 ml/l, dan 8 ml/l. berdasarkan uji anova diperoleh bahwa pemberian ekstrak daun pepaya (carica papaya l) dengan dosis yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata (p

One of the obstacles that inhibits the process of seed production of barramundi is infection with the fungus Saprolegnia sp. the natural ingredients that can prevent fungal infections in fish eggs is papaya leaves (Carica papaya L). The aim of the study was to determine the effect of papaya leaf extract on fungal infections in barramundi eggs and the optimal dose for treating this fungal infection. This research was conducted in April-May 2023 at the Brackish Water Aquaculture Fishery Center (BPBAP) Ujung Batee, Aceh Besar District.
