Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis tipologi kepribadian tokoh dan teknik pelukisan tokoh dalam novel kembara rindu karya habiburrahman el shirazy. metode yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel yang berjudul kembara rindu karya habiburrahman el shirazy. data penelitian ini adalah bagian-bagian terkait dengan tipologi kepribadian tokoh dan teknik pelukisan tokoh dalam novel kembara rindu karya habiburrahman el shirazy. tipologi kepribadian tokoh yang dimaksud berdasarkan teori eduard spranger, kepribadian manusia dibagi menjadi enam tipe atau golongan, yaitu tipe manusia teori (ilmu pengetahuan), tipe manusia ekonomi, tipe manusia seni (estetis), tipe manusia agama, tipe manusia sosial, dan tipe manusia kuasa. tipe kepribadian yang paling dominan dimiliki oleh tokoh dalam novel kembara rindu karya habiburrahman el shirazy, yaitu tipe manusia sosial dimiliki oleh 9 tokoh. tipe kepribadian yang paling sedikit dimiliki adalah tipe manusia kuasa yang hanya dimiliki oleh tokoh bu rosma. . kata kunci: tokoh, karya sastra, novel, tipologi kepribadian

This study describes the types of character typology and character painting techniques in the novel Kembara Rindu by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data source in this study is a novel entitled Kembara Rindu by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The data of this research are the parts related to the typology of the character's personality and the character's painting technique in the novel Kembara Rindu by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The personality typology of the character in question is based on Eduard Spranger's theory, human personality is divided into six types or groups, namely theoretical (science) human types, economic human types, artistic (aesthetic) human types, religious human types, social human types, and human types. power. The most dominant personality type is owned by the character in the novel Kembara Rindu by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, namely the social human type is owned by 9 characters.
