Budidaya benih ikan lele rentan terhadap serangan ektoparasit. ektoparasit yang umumnya menyerang ikan lele adalah trichodina sp., argulus sp., lernea sp., gyrodactylus sp., dactylogyrus sp. ektoparasit menyerang bagian luar tubuh ikan yaitu pada bagian lendir, ekor dan sirip pada ikan lele. pengobatan ektoparasit secara umum biasanya menggunakan bahan-bahan kimia, namun hal ini memiliki dampak negatif jika digunakan secara terus menerus. penggunaan bahan alami lebih disarankan dalam menanggulangi ektoparasit pada ikan karena tidak akan menimbulkan efek yang negatif. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan ekstrak daun sirsak (annona muricata) dalam penanggulangan ektoparasit pada ikan lele (clarias gariepinus). rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (ral) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, dengan dosis p0 (kontrol positif), p1 (40 ppm), p2 (60 ppm), p3 (80 ppm) dan p4 (100 ppm). parameter yang diamati adalah gejala klinis, kelangsungan hidup, prevalensi, intensitas dan kualitas air. ektoparasit yang didapatkan adalah argulus sp., lernea sp., dan dactylogyrus sp. hasil uji anova menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak daun sirsak dalam penanggulangan ektoparasit pada ikan lele memberikan pengaruh nyata (p



Abstract

Catfish larvae cultivation is susceptible to ectoparasite attack. Ectoparasites that commonly attack catfish are Trichodina sp., Argulus sp., Lernea sp., Gyrodactylussp., Dactylogyrus sp. Ectoparasites attack the outside of the fish body, namely the mucus, tail and fins of catfish. Treatment of ectoparasites in general usually uses chemicals, but this has a negative impact if used continuously. The use of natural ingredients is more recommended in tackling ectoparasites in fish because it will not cause negative effects. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of soursop leaf extract (Annona muricata) in overcoming ectoparasites in catfish (Clarias gariepinus). The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replicates, with doses of P0 (Positive Control), P1 (40 ppm), P2 (60 ppm), P3 (80 ppm) and P4 (100 ppm). Parameters observed were clinical symptoms, survival, prevalence, intensity and water quality. Ectoparasites obtained were Argulus sp., Lernea sp., and Dactylogyrus sp. The results of the ANOVA test showed that the administration of soursop leaf extract in the prevention of ectoparasites in catfish had a significant effect (P < 0.05) on the survival of catfish in the P3 (80 ppm) with a survival value of 80% with a prevalence value of 67% and the intensity level in the low category. Based on the results of the study, the provision of soursop leaf extract in the prevention of ectoparasites in catfish showed significant results.
