Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang kandungan logam berat timbal pada sedimen di pelabuhan nelayan kota banda aceh. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kandungan logam berat timbal pada sedimen di pelabuhan nelayan kota banda aceh. penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan februari 2023. pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling menggunakan pipa paralon dengan panjang 10 cm dan diameter 2,5 inch. sampel sedimen diambil dari 3 stasiun dengan kedalaman lapisan atas 0-5 cm dan lapisan bawah 6-10 cm. kadar logam timbal pada sampel sedimen dianalisis menggunakan atomic absorption spectrophotometer (aas) di laboratorium lingkungan prodi teknik kimia fakultas teknik universitas syiah kuala. hasil analisis kandungan logam berat timbal pada sedimen di lapisan atas sebesar 3,38–26,09 mg/kg dan lapisan bawah 3,73–13,56 mg/kg menunjukkan bahwa pelabuhan nelayan kota banda aceh belum tercemar logam berat timbal menurut us-epa (united states environmental protection agency) tahun 2004. kata kunci : atomic absorption spectrophotometer (aas), kadar logam, sedimen, timbal

Abstract
A study was conducted on the content of heavy metal lead in sediments at the fishing harbor of Banda Aceh City. The purpose of this study was to determine the heavy metal content of lead in sediments in the fishing harbor of Banda Aceh City. This research was conducted in February 2023. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling method using a pipe with a length of 10 cm and a diameter of 2.5 inches. Sediment samples were taken from 3 stations with a depth of 0-5 cm top layer and 6-10 cm bottom layer. Lead metal content in sediment samples was analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) in the Environmental Laboratory of Chemical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Syiah Kuala University. The results of the analysis of lead heavy metal content in sediments in the upper layer of 3.38-26.09 mg / kg and the lower layer of 3.73-13.56 mg / kg show that the Banda Aceh City fishing port has not been polluted by heavy metals lead according to the US-EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency) in 2004.
