Abstrak fadia tasya ardilla (2023). kontribusi motivasi terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa di mtsn 2 aceh besar dalam kegiatan pembelajaran peranan motivasi sangat diperlukan karena menjadi salah satu penyebab tinggi atau rendahnya kualitas hasil belajar, khususnya pada pelajaran matematika. kondisi tersebut dapat diketahui jika ada kontribusi motivasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya kontribusi motivasi terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa di mtsn 2 aceh besar tahun ajaran 2022/2023. adapun pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis deskriptif korelasional. populasinya yaitu semua siswa kelas viii di mtsn 2 aceh besar. penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling, sehingga sampel yang terpilih adalah kelas viii-4. pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket motivasi dan tes hasil belajar siswa. data diolah menggunakan uji korelasi sederhana sampai koefisien determinasi setelah prasyarat pengujian terpenuhi. setelah data diolah, diperoleh korelasi yaitu r = 0,478 berada pada nilai 0,40-0,599, dengan demikian tingkat hubungan antara motivasi dan hasil belajar matematika siswa tergolong dalam korelasi positif yang cukup kuat. berdasarkan analisis koefisien determinasi motivasi belajar yaitu sebesar 22,8484% yang tergolong rendah mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi memiliki kontribusi terhadap hasil belajar siswa di mtsn 2 aceh besar. berdasarkan hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan guru untuk lebih memperhatikan motivasi siswa agar memiliki motivasi yang tinggi, sehingga siswa mudah ketika menyelesaikan masalah dan mendapatkan hasil belajar yang maksimal. kata kunci: motivasi belajar, hasil belajar

ABSTRAK Fadia Tasya Ardilla (2023). Motivational Contribution to Student Mathematics Learning Outcomes in MTsN 2 Aceh Besar. Motivation plays an important role in teaching and learning activities as it is one of the causes of high quality learning outcomes, especially in mathematics. This condition can be recognized when motivation contributes to student learning outcomes. The aim of this study was to determine whether motivation contributed to student learning outcomes in the Mathematics MTsN 2 Aceh Besar 2022/2023 school year. The approach used is a quantitative approach using descriptive correlation types. This population consists only of class VIII students of MTsN 2 Aceh Besar. Use a random sampling method to determine the samples so that the selected samples correspond to class VIII-4. Data were collected using motivational questionnaires and student learning outcomes tests. Data are processed using simple correlation tests until the coefficient of determination according to test requirements is met. After processing the data, we get the correlation, namely r = 0.478. This corresponds to values between 0.40 and 0.599. Therefore, the degree of association between student motivation and learning outcomes in mathematics is rated as having a fairly strong positive correlation. Based on the analysis of the coefficient of determination of learning motivation 22.8484%, it can be concluded that motivation contributes to student learning outcomes in MTsN 2 Aceh Besar, although its impact on student learning outcomes is relatively small. increase. It is hoped that the findings of this study will help teachers to place more emphasis on student motivation and help students to be highly motivated, solve problems easily, and achieve maximum learning outcomes.
