Jaringan ikat kolagen tipe iii merupakan salah satu tipe jaringan ikat kolagen yang dapat ditemukan pada dua jenis pembungkus otot, yaitu perimisium dan endomisium. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan membandingkan kandungan jaringan ikat kolagen tipe iii pada dua jenis otot longissimus dorsi dan semitendinosus sapi bx. sampel yang digunakan yaitu otot longissimus dorsi dan semitendinosus dari tiga ekor sapi bx jantan dewasa dengan bobot badan 300-400 kg dan body condition score (bcs) 4. sampel diproses menjadi preparat histologi dan diwarnai dengan perwanaan imunohistokimia. identifikasi jaringan ikat kolagen tipe iii pada kedua otot dianalisis secara deskriptif, sedangkan kandungan jaringan ikat kolagen tipe iii dikuantifikasi menggunakan software image j dan dianalisis statistik menggunakan independent t-test. hasil penelitian memperlihatkan ekspresi jaringan ikat kolagen tipe iii yang teridentifikasi pada perimisium dan endomisium. kandungan jaringan ikat kolagen tipe iii berbeda nyata antara otot longissimus dorsi dan semitendinosus (p

Abstract
Type III collagen connective tissue is one type of collagen connective tissue that found in two types of muscle wrapping, namely perimysium and endomysium. This study aims to identify and compare the content of type III collagen connective tissue in two types of muscles longissimus dorsi and semitendinosus BX cattle. The samples were used longissimus dorsi and semitendinosus muscles from three BX bulls with bodyweight 300-400 kg and body condition score (BCS) 4. The samples were processed into histological preparations and stained with immunohistochemical staining. The identification of type III collagen connective tissue in both muscles was analysed descriptively, in contrast the content of type III collagen connective tissue was quantified using Image J software and statistically analysed using an independent T-test. The results showed that the expression of type III collagen connective tissue was identified in the perimysium and endomysium. Statistical results showed that the content of type III collagen connective tissue significantly different between the longissimus dorsi and semitendinosus muscles (P< 0.05). The longissimus dorsi muscle has a percentage of type III collagen connective tissue area of 2,36 ± 0,90%, while in the semitendinosus muscle, it was 8,25 ± 3,09%. The difference in location and function of the two muscles was a factor that affects the percentage of type III collagen connective tissue area in the perimysium and endomysium. The conclusion of this study is that type III collagen connective tissue identified in the perimysium and endomysium on both muscles and the semitendinosus muscle has a higher percentage of type III collagen connective tissue compared to the longissimus dorsi muscle.
