Antibiotik merupakan bahan yang di keluarkan oleh mikroorganisme dan bersifat antagonis terhadap pertumbuhan dan hidupnya mikroorganisme lain. penggunaannya yang luas menyebabkan bakteri resisten terhadap antibiotik tertentu. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji sensitivitas antibiotik terhadap staphylococcus aureus yang diisolasi dari tujuh kucing penderita earmites di desa lamreung kecamatan darul imarah aceh besar. sampel diambil dari tujuh ekor kucing domestik penderita earmites dengan cara di swab dibagian telinga lalu masukkan ke dalam nb. penelitian ini dilakukan di laboratorium mikrobiologi fkh usk dengan metode cross-sectional study selanjutnya bakteri yang tumbuh pada media nb diinokulasi ke media msa. untuk uji sensitivitas terhadap antibiotik dikerjakan berdasarkan menurut kirby- baeuer. bakteri dikultur ke ke dalam nb, lalu diinkubasi pada suhu 37˚c selama 24 jam dan diamati kekeruhannya sesuai dengan standar larutan mc. farland 0,5. bakteri di tanam pada media mha, kemudian disk antibiotik gentamycin, amoxicillin, chloramphenicol dan ciprofloxacin diambil dan diletakkan di permukaan mha yang telah diolesi bakteri tersebut. media mha diinkubasi pada temperatur 37˚c selama 24 jam. sensitivitas masing-masing antibiotik dicatat berdasarkan diameter zona hambat yang terbentuk di sekitar cakram, dan dibandingkan dengan tabel clinical and laboratory standar institute (clsi). data disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan gambar dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tujuh isolat s. aureus telah resisten terhadap antibiotik gentamycin (14,28%) dan amoxicilin (28,57%), dan masih sensitif terhadap antibiotik chloramphenicol (100%) dan ciprofloxacin (100%). dapat disimpulkan bahwa chloramphenicol dan ciprofloxacin masih dapat dipakai untuk mengobati infeksi sekunder pada kasus earmites yang disebabkan oleh s. aureus. kata kunci: antibiotik, sensitif, staphylococcus aureus



Abstract

Antibiotiks are materials secreted by microorganisms and are antagonistic to the growth and life of other microorganisms. Its widespread use causes bacteria to become resistant to certain antibiotiks. This study aims to examine the sensitivity of antibiotiks to Staphylococcus aureus isolated from seven cats with earmites in Lamreung Village, Darul Imarah District, Aceh Besar. Samples were taken from seven domestic cats with earmites by swabbing the ears and then inserting them into the Nutrient Borth (NB). This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Microbiology FKH USK with a cross-sectional study method and then bacteria growing on NB media were inoculated onto MSA media. The sensitivity test for antibiotiks was carried out according to Kirby-Baeuer. The bacteria were cultured in Nutrient Borth (NB), then incubated at 37˚C for 24 hours and observed for turbidity according to the standard Mc solution. Farlands 0.5. The bacteria were grown on Muller Hinton Agar (MHA) media, then the antibiotik disks gentamycin, amoxicillin, chloramphenicol and ciprofloxacin were taken and placed on the surface of the MHA that had been smeared with the bacteria. MHAmedia was incubated at 37˚C for 24 hours. The sensitivity of each antibiotik was recorded based on the diameter of the inhibition zone formed around the disc, and compared with the Clinical and LaboratoryStandards Institute (CLSI) table. Data is presented in the form of tables and figures and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that seven isolates of Staphylococcus aureus were resistant to the antibiotiks gentamycin (14.28%) and Amoxicilin (28.57%), and were still sensitif to the antibiotiks chloramphenicol (100%) and ciprofloxacin (100%). It can be concluded that chloramphenicol and ciprofloxacin can still be used to treat secondary infections in cases of earmites caused by Staphylococcus aureus.
