Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sejarah di kelas xi ipa sma negeri 16 banda aceh. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe tebak kata terhadap minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah di kelas xi ipa sma negeri 16 banda aceh. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-experimental design berbentuk one group pretest-posttest design. adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas xi sma negeri 16 banda aceh tahun ajaran 2022/2023 yang terdiri dari 2 kelas berjumlah 24 orang siswa. teknik pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling purposive, sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas xi ipa yang berjumlah 15 siswa. teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket dan observasi. sedangkan, teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dengan t-hitung = 2,344 dan t-tabel pada taraf α (0,05) dengan df=14 adalah 2,145, berarti menunjukkan bahwa kriteria uji t-hitung > t-tabel atau 2,344 >2,145 pada taraf signifikansi α = 5% (0,05), maka h_0 ditolak dan h_"a" diterima. hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap minat belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe tebak kata dalam pembelajaran sejarah di kelas xi ipa sma negeri 16 banda aceh. kata kunci: model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe tebak kata, minat belajar

The problem in this research is the lack of student interest in history in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 16 Banda Aceh. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model of the charades type on students' learning interest in learning history in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 16 Banda Aceh. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design research in the form of a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all class XI students of SMA Negeri 16 Banda Aceh for the academic year 2022/2023 which consisted of 2 classes of 24 students. The sample selection technique used a purposive sampling technique, the samples used in this study were 15 students in class XI IPA. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires and observation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques used the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the results of hypothesis testing using paired sample t-test with t-test = 2.344 and t-table at level α (0.05) with df = 14 is 2.145, indicating that the criteria for the t-test count > t-table or 2.344 > 2.145 at the significance level α = 5% (0.05), then H_0 is rejected and H_"a" is accepted. These results can be concluded that there is a significant influence on students' learning interest after using the charades type cooperative learning model in history learning in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 16 Banda Aceh.
