Infeksi nosokomial atau healthcare associations infections (hais) sering terjadi pada bayi yang dirawat di neonatal intensive care unit (nicu). tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bakteri yang berpotensi sebagai penyebab hais dan multidrug resistant organisms (mdros) di lingkungan nicu rsud dr. zainoel abidin banda aceh. jenis penelitian ini adalah observational laboratorium dengan desain cross sectional. penelitian ini dilakukan di ruang nicu dan laboratorium mikrobiologi klinik rsud dr. zainoel abidin banda aceh. sampel berjumlah 30 yang terdiri dari swab inkubator, tiang infus, ventilator, lantai, alat ekokardiografi, cpap, nurse station, troli tindakan dan meja cardecks. spesimen dimasukkan dalam media perbenihan bhi broth. selanjutnya dilakukan isolasi pada media ba dan mca. identifikasi bakteri dilakukan dengan pewarnaan gram, uji katalase dan koagulase (gram positif) dan uji imvic (gram negatif). penentuan mdros dilakukan dengan metode difusi cakram kirby bauer. data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. berdasarkan hasil penelitian semua spesimen terdapat pertumbuhan bakteri dalam ba sedangkan dalam mac conkey ditemukan 63,3% adanya pertumbuhan bakteri. spesies bakteri yang dominan ditemukan adalah coagulase-negative staphylococci (26,6%), proteus vulgaris (20%) dan serratia liquefaciens (16,6%). selain itu ditemukan enterobacter intermedius, citrobacter diversus, staphylococcus aureus masing-masing 10% dan enterobacter cloacae (6,6%). bakteri mdros yang ditemukan pada penelitian ini adalah methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (mrsa) dan bakteri penghasil esbl yaitu proteus vulgaris, seratia liquefaciens, citrobacter diversus serta enterobacter cloacae. hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa lingkungan nicu rsudza ditemukan bakteri yang berpotensi menjadi penyebab hais. kata kunci: healthcare associations infections, nicu, mdro, bakteri lingkungan

Abstract
Nosocomial infections or Healthcare Associations Infections (HAIs) often occur in infants treated in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The purpose of this study was to determine the bacteria that have the potential to cause HAIs and Multidrug Resistant Organisms (MDROs) in the NICU environment of RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. This type of research is observational laboratory with cross sectional design. This study was conducted in the NICU room and Clinical Microbiology Laboratory of RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. There were 30 samples consisting of incubator swab, infusion pole, ventilator, floor, echocardiography equipment, CPAP, nurse station, action trolley and cardecks table. Specimens were included in BHI Broth seeding media. Next, isolation was carried out on BA and MCA media. Bacterial identification was performed by gram staining, catalase and coagulase test (gram positive) and IMVIC test (gram negative). Determination of MDROs was carried out by Kirby Bauer disc diffusion method. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of the study, all specimens contained bacterial growth in BA while in Mac Conkey 63.3% of bacterial growth was found. The dominant bacterial species found were Coagulase-Negative Staphylococci (26.6%), Proteus vulgaris (20%) and Serratia liquefaciens (16.6%). In addition, Enterobacter intermedius, Citrobacter diversus, Staphylococcus aureus were found at 10% each and Enterobacter cloacae (6.6%). MDRO bacteria found in this study were Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and ESBL-producing bacteria, namely Proteus vulgaris, Seratia liquefaciens, Citrobacter diversus and Enterobacter cloacae. The results of this study concluded that the NICU environment of RSUDZA found bacteria that could potentially cause HAIs.
