Perhatian orang tua memegang peran penting untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. perhatian orang tua sangat memengaruhi kesuksesan siswa dalam hasil belajarnya.faktor lain yang memengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa yang berasal dari luar diri siswa adalah lingkungan keluarga. keluarga memiliki peranan penting atas pengajaran dan perlindungan anak.penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuipengaruh perhatian orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran tematik tema 2 subtema 3 pb 1 kelas iii sdn 1 peukan bada.pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu (pre-eksperimen design). populasi penelitian ini adalahseluruh siswa kelas iii sdn 1 peukan bada yang berjumlah 52 orang dari kelas iii a dan iii b dengan teknik pengambilan sampelmenggunakan purposive sampling. teknik pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakanangket.seluruh data hasil angket diolah dengan teknik analisis data yaitu menggunakanuji-t hipotesis satu sampel. berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa perhatian orang tua sebesar 57,975% dan motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 77.7%. analisis deskriptif nilai minimum perhatian orang tua adalah 44 sedangkan maksimum sebanyak 74. dan untuk motivasi belajar siswa nilai minimum sebesar 58 dan maksimum sebesar 100. untuk rata-rata nilai perhatian orang tua adalah 57,97 sedangkan rata-rata nilai motivasi belajar siswa adalah 77,69. dan nilai standar deviation untuk perhatian orang tua 6,700 sedangkan motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 11,080. hasil uji pada bagianequal variances assumed tampak bahwanilai sig.(2-tailed)

Parents' attention plays an important role in increasing student learning motivation. Parents' attention greatly influences the success of students in their learning outcomes. Another factor that influences student learning motivation that comes from outside the student's self is the family environment. The family has an important role in teaching and protecting children. This study aims to determine the effect of parental attention on students' learning motivation in the Thematic Subject 2 Sub-theme 3 PB 1 class III SDN 1 Peukan Bada. The approach in this study is a quantitative approach to the type of quasi-experimental research (Pre-Experimental Design). The population of this study were all students of class III SDN 1 Peukan Bada, totaling 52 people from class III A and III B with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques researchers use a questionnaire. All data from the questionnaire were processed using data analysis techniques, namely using the one-sample hypothesis t-test. Based on the results of the research, it shows that parents' attention is 57.975% and students' learning motivation is 77.7%. Descriptive analysis of the minimum value of parental attention is 44 while the maximum is 74. And for student learning motivation the minimum value is 58 and the maximum is 100. For the average value of parental attention is 57.97 while the average value of student learning motivation is 77 ,69. And the standard deviation value for parents' attention is 6,700 while students' learning motivation is 11,080.
