Background: Heart failure in congenital heart disease (CHD) is a cause of pediatric emergency, when the heart is unable to meet the body's metabolic needs adequately. G protein is the largest protein that binds to cell membrane receptors which plays a major role in the regulation of the cardiovascular system, but research on G protein in children is very limited. This study aims to determine G protein levels and the relationship between G protein and left ventricular systolic function in children with acyanotic CHD.
