Dalam pembelajaran matematika masih banyak siswa yang belum memahami materi pecahan khususnya pecahan senilai. pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang diterapkan guru masih berpusat pada guru, guru yang kurang melibatkan siswa sehingga masih banyak siswa yang kurang aktif. untuk itu perlu diterapkan suatu pembelajaran yang dapat membuat siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran matematika. maka digunakanlah suatu pendekatan pada penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan realistic mathematics education (rme). rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “apakah terdapat pengaruh pendekatan realistic mathematics education (rme) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi pecahan di kelas iv sd negeri 1 lambheu?”. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan realistic mathematics education (rme) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi pecahan khususnya pada materi pecahan senilai. pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, jenis penelitiannya yaitu true experimental dengan desain pretest posttest control group design. populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas iv sd negeri 1 lambheu, dengan mengambil sampel siswa kelas iva dan ivb. teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dalam bentuk pretest dan posttest, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan spss statistic 24 dan pengujian hipotesis dengan uji-t test independent. hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan statistik uji-t test independent diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. maka kriteria pengambilan keputusan yaitu h_a diterima dan h_0 ditolak. dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pendekatan realistic mathematics education (rme) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi pecahan di kelas iv sd negeri 1 lambheu. kata kunci: pendekatan realistic mathematics education (rme), hasil belajar, pecahan

In learning mathematics, there are still many students who do not understand fraction material, especially fractions worth. The implementation of learning applied by the teacher is still teacher-centered, teachers who do not involve students so that there are still many students who are less active. For this reason, it is necessary to apply a lesson that can make students active in learning mathematics. So an approach is used in this study, namely the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach. The formulation of the problem in this study is "is there an effect of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on students' learning outcomes on fraction material in class IV SD Negeri 1 Lambheu?". This study aims to determine the effect of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on students' learning outcomes on fraction material, especially on fraction worth material. The approach in this research is a quantitative approach, the type of research is True Experimental with Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The study population was all fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Lambheu, by taking samples of IVA and IVB grade students. Data collection techniques used tests in the form of pretests and posttests, while data analysis techniques used SPSS Statistic 24 and hypothesis testing with an independent t-test.
