Learning loss merupakan salah satu penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi bentuk aljabar sehingga diperlukan pembelajaran remedial. pembelajaran remedial dilaksanakan melalui e-learning memuat soal serta video pada materi bentuk aljabar yang dikembangkan oleh tim pusat riset dan pengembangan pendidikan matematika realisitik indonesia (prp-pmri) universitas syiah kuala. tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah remedial berbasis e-learning dan menganalisis kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal remedial dengan sistem pada materi bentuk aljabar. penelitian ini menggunakan mixed method jenis embedded design. populasi penelitian yaitu siswa smp negeri kota banda aceh. sampel penelitian sebanyak 148 siswa yang berasal dari sekolah level tinggi, sedang, dan rendah dengan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, sedangkan wawancara dilakukan terhadap 6 siswa yang dipilih berdasarkan hasil nilai rendah pada masing-masing level sekolah. instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes diagnostik sebagai pretes, tes remedial sebagai postes, dan pedoman wawancara. teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini yaitu data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan uji non parametrik chi square untuk n-gain dan data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. hasil penelitian diperoleh yaitu 1) rata-rata peningkatan hasil belajar diperoleh sebesar 0,57 yang termasuk dalam kategori cukup, serta hasil belajar siswa yang mengalami learning loss terjadi peningkatan setelah remedial berbasis e-learning pada materi bentuk aljabar; 2) hasil wawancara dua siswa pada masing-masing level sekolah yaitu adanya kesulitan yang dialami oleh siswa saat menyelesaikan soal remedial diantaranya siswa tidak dapat menentukan penjumlahan suku yang sejenis, tidak dapat menggunakan sifat distributif perkalian, dan pembagian pada bentuk aljabar. penggunaan e-learning dapat membantu siswa dalam mengingat kembali konsep aljabar. jika dilihat dari hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian siswa mengalami learning loss. kata kunci: bentuk aljabar, hasil belajar, learning loss, remedial berbasis e-learning



Abstract

Learning loss is one of the causes of low student learning outcomes in algebraic material so that remedial learning is needed. Remedial learning is carried out through e-learning which contains questions and videos on algebraic material developed by the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education Research and Development Center Team (PRP-PMRI) at Syiah Kuala University. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student learning outcomes after remedial based on e-learning and to analyze students' difficulties in solving remedial problems with the system on algebraic material. This study uses a mixed method type of embedded design. The population of this research is students of SMP Negeri Kota Banda Aceh. The research sample consisted of 148 students from high, medium and low level schools. The data collection technique was carried out through tests, while interviews were conducted with 6 students who were selected based on the results of low scores at each school level. The instruments used in this study were a pre-test diagnostic test, a post-test remedial test, and an interview guide. Data analysis techniques in this study, namely quantitative data were analyzed using the non-parametric Chi Square test for N-Gain and qualitative data were analyzed using reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The research results obtained were 1) the average increase in learning outcomes was obtained by 0.57 which was included in the sufficient category, and the learning outcomes of students who experienced learning loss increased after remedial based on e-learning on algebraic material; 2) the results of interviews with two students at each school level, namely the difficulties experienced by students when solving remedial questions, including students being unable to determine the sum of like terms, unable to use the distributive property of multiplication, and dividing in algebraic forms. The use of e-learning can assist students in recalling algebraic concepts. When viewed from the results of the study, it can be concluded that some students experience learning loss.
