Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan kausalitas dinamis antara pariwisata halal, cadangan devisa dan pertumbuhan ekonomi di negara asean selama periode 1999-2020. hasil estimasi pada pemodelan vector error correction model menunjukkan bahwa pariwisata halal berpengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi berpengaruh positif terhadap pariwisata halal. hasil uji kausalitas memperlihatkan terdapat hubungan kausalitas dua arah antara pariwisata halal dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kausalitas satu arah antara pariwisata halal dengan cadangan devisa sedangkan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan cadangan devisa tidak menunjukkan adanya hubungan kausalitas. sektor pariwisata halal perlu ditingkatkan di negara asean untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dan cadangan devisa.

This study aims to examine the dynamic causality relationship between halal tourism, foreign exchange reserves, and economic growth in ASEAN countries during the 1999-2020 period. The estimation results by using the Vector Error Correction Model show that halal tourism has a positive effect on economic growth and economic growth has a positive effect on halal tourism. The results of the causality test show that there is a two-way causality relationship between halal tourism and economic growth and one-way causality between halal tourism and foreign exchange reserves while economic growth and foreign exchange reserves do not show a causal relationship. The halal tourism sector needs to be improved in ASEAN countries to encourage economic growth and foreign exchange reserves
