Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi kepala sekolah terhadap kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan media berbasis teknologi informasi. pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. subjek pada penelitian ini berjumlah empat orang kepala sekolah. teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara terstruktur dengan jumlah dua belas pertanyaan. selanjutnya seluruh data yang diperoleh diolah dengan tahapan analisis data penelitian kualitatif yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. berdasarkan dari hasil wawancara kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan media berbasis teknologi di gugus xxii (sd negeri garot, sd negeri garot geuceu, sd negeri 1 jeumpeut dan sd negeri 2 jeumpeut) masih tergolong rendah. dari hasil wawancara dengan keempat kepala sekolah diketahui bahwa salah satu faktor penghambat dalam memanfaatkan media berbasis teknologi yaitu fasilitas yang belum memadai di sekolah sehingga para guru belum menggunakan media berbasis teknologi secara maksimal, selain dikarenakan fasilitas yang belum memadai, masih banyak guru yang belum mampu dalam menggunakan media berbasis teknologi informasi karena belum terbiasa dalam penggunaanya saat proses belajar mengajar di kelas.

This study aims to describe the principal's perception of the teacher's ability to utilize information technology-based media. The approach in this research is a type of qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The subjects in this study were four school principals. The data collection technique was carried out by means of structured interviews with a total of twelve questions. Furthermore, all the data obtained was processed with the stages of qualitative research data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the interview results, the ability of teachers to utilize technology-based media in Cluster XXII (Garot Public Elementary School, Garot Geuceu Public Elementary School, Jeumpeut 1 Public Elementary School and Jeumpeut 2 Public Elementary School) is still relatively low. From the results of interviews with the four principals it is known that one of the inhibiting factors in utilizing technology-based media is inadequate facilities in schools so that teachers have not used technology-based media to the fullest, apart from inadequate facilities, there are still many teachers who are unable to use information technology-based media because they are not used to using it during the teaching and learning process in class
