Abstrak instagram menyediakan informasi dalam bentuk visual sehingga mendapatkan gambaran mengenai standar tubuh yang ideal di kalangan masyarakat. perempuan dewasa awal yang sering terpapar mengenai konsep tubuh ideal, menyebabkan ketidakpuasan tubuh dan menurunkan harga diri. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan citra tubuh dan harga diri pada perempuan dewasa awal pengguna instagram di kota banda aceh. sebanyak 336 perempuan dewasa awal dipilih dengan menggunakan metode non-probability sampling dengan teknik accidental sampling. instrumen yang di gunakan dalam pengumpulan data penelitian ini ialah state self esteem scale (sses) dan multimendisional body self relations questionnaire-appearance scale (mbsrq-as). hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan distribusi data normal dan linear, sehingga hasil analisis uji hipotesis pearson correlation menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (p)=0,000 (p

ABSTRACT The Instagram platform provides information in visual form so that you get an idea of the ideal body standard among the public. Early adult women are often exposed to the concept of an ideal body, causing body dissatisfaction and lowering self-esteem. This study aims to determine the relationship between body image and self-esteem in early adult women who use Instagram in Banda Aceh City. A total of 336 early adult women were selected using the non-probability sampling method with the accidental sampling technique. The instruments used in collecting research data were the State Self-esteem Scale (SSES) and the Multimenditional Body Self Relations Questionnaire-Appearance Scale (MBSRQ-AS).
