Abstrak epi yulia putri (2023). campur kode dan alih kode dalam grup whatsapp mahasiswa pendidikan bahasa indonesia fkip universitas syiah kuala. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk campur kode dan alih kode dalam pesan grup whatsapp mahasiswa pendidikan bahasa indonesia fkip usk. manfaat penelitian ini yaitu dapat memberikan informasi tentang bentuk campur kode dan alih kode yang terdapat dalam grup whatsapp mahasiswa pendidikan bahasa indonesia fkip usk, serta sebagai gambaran bagi mahasiswa pendidikan bahasa indonesia fkip usk agar meningkatkan proses pembelajaran khususnya tentang campur kode dan alih kode. metode yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah pesan grup whatsapp mahasiswa pendidikan bahasa indonesia fkip usk. teknik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik dokumentasi. dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan 43 data campur kode dan alih kode. bentuk campur kode sebanyak 37 data dan alih kode sebanyak 6 data. data paling dominan ditemukan adalah bentuk campur kode berupa kata sebanyak 33 data. bentuk campur kode yang tidak terdapat, yaitu bentuk brupa klausa, perulangan kata, dan idiom. bentuk alih kode yang tidak ditemukan yaitu alih kode ekstern. kata kunci: campur kode, alih kode, pesan grup whatsapp, sosial media.

This study aims to describe the forms of code mixing and code switching in WhatsApp group messages from USK FKIP Indonesian Language Education students. The benefit of this research is that it can provide information about the forms of code-mixing and code-switching contained in WhatsApp groups of USK FKIP Indonesian Language Education students, as well as an illustration for Indonesian Language Education students of FKIP USK to improve the learning process, especially about code-mixing and code-switching. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The source of the data in this study was WhatsApp group messages from USK FKIP Indonesian language education students. The data collection technique used in this study is the documentation technique. From the results of this study, 43 code-mixing and code-switching data were found. The form of code mixing is 37 data and code switching is 6 data. The most dominant data found was the form of code mixing in the form of 33 words. The forms of code mixing that do not exist are the forms of clauses, repetition of words, and idioms. The form of code switching that is not found is external code switching.
