Pengaruh pandemi covid-19 telah membawa banyak perubahan di berbagai sektor kehidupan, salah satunya layanan public di sektor pendidikan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kepribadian hardiness dengan readiness for change pada pegawai di politeknik negeri lhokseumawe. menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional, melibatkan 206 pegawai politeknik negeri lhokseumawe, dengan teknik probability sampling jenis simple random sampling. alat pengumpulan data yaitu skala occupational hardiness questionaire (α=0,837) dan skala kesiapan berubah (α=0,906). analisis data menggunakan analisis spearman rho correlation dengan koefisien korelasi (r=0,085, p=0,224). hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara kepribadian hardiness dan readiness for change pada pegawai. terdapat kemungkinan bahwa budaya organisasi dan iklim kerja membuat pegawai politeknik negeri lhokseumawe meskipun memiliki kepribadian hardiness dan readiness for change yang baik namun keduanya tidak saling mempengaruhi secara langsung.



Abstract

The effect of the Covid-19 has brought many changes in various sectors of life, one of which is public services in the education sector. This study aims to look at the relationship between hardiness personality and readiness for change among employees at the Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic. Using a correlational quantitative method, involving 206 employees of the Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic, with a simple random sampling probability sampling technique. The data collection tools are the Occupational Hardiness Questionnaire scale (α=0.837) and the Readiness to Change scale (α=0.906). Data analysis used Spearman Rho Correlation analysis with a correlation coefficient (r=0.085, p=0.224). This shows that there is no relationship between personality hardiness and readiness for change in employees. It is possible that organizational culture and work climate make Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic employees even though they have good hardiness and readiness for change personalities, but the two do not directly influence each other.
