Abstrak latar belakang: gejala yang paling umum dirasakan pasien covid-19 salah satunya adalah kehilangan indera pengecap. beberapa penelitian lain telah menunjukkan adanya manifestasi rongga mulut pada pasien yang terinfeksi covid-19. manifestasi rongga mulut pada pasien covid-19 juga berkaitan dengan kebersihan rongga mulut yang buruk, infeksi oportunistik, stres, penurunan imun, serta respon hiperinflamatoris covid-19. maka dari itu, diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai pengaruh faktor tersebut terhadap manifestasi rongga mulut pada pasien covid-19. tujuan: mengidentifikasi hubungan usia, jenis kelamin, stres, komorbid, dan kebersihan rongga mulut dengan manifestasi rongga mulut pada pasien terinfeksi covid-19. metode penelitian: metode retrospektif dengan purposive sampling dan diperoleh sejumlah 300 responde yang pernah terinfeksi covid-19. analisis data dengan chi-square dan regresi logistik menggunakan aplikasi spss 26. hasil penelitian: hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kebersihan rongga mulut dan komorbid dengan manifestasi rongga mulut pada pasien covid-19 di aceh, sedangkan usia, jenis kelamin dan stres tidak memiliki hubungan dengan manifestasi rongga mulut pada pasien covid-19 di aceh. kesimpulan: kebersihan rongga mulut merupakan faktor yang paling dominan yang mempengaruhi manifestasi ronga mulut pada pasien covid-19 di aceh. kata kunci: manifestasi rongga mulut, usia, jenis kelamin, stres, kebersihan rongga mulut, komorbid, pasien covid-19

ABSTRACT Background: One of the most common symptoms felt by Covid-19 patients is change in sense of taste. Several studies had shown oral manifestations in Covid-19 patients. Oral manifestations in Covid-19 patients are also related to poor oral hygiene, opportunistic infections, stress, and hyperinflammatory response to Covid-19. Thus, further research is needed regarding the determinants that influence oral manifestations in Covid-19 patients. Objective: This study aimed to identify the relationship between age, gender, stress, comorbidities, and oral hygiene with oral manifestations in Covid-19 patients. Method: A retrospective study was conducted over 300 patients ever infected by Covid 19. Chi-square and Logistic Regression test was employed in this study to determine the relationship between independent and depentent variables by using SPSS 26. Results: Factors related with oral manifestation in Covid-19 patient were oral hygiene and comorbid (p>0.05). This study also showed that age, sex and stress were not related to oral manifestations in Covid-19 patients in Aceh. Conclusion: Oral hygiene was the most dominant predisposing factor that influenced oral manifestation in Covid-19 patient in Aceh (p>0.05).
