Participants in the study were nurses implementing the CMHN program at six Community Health Centers with a total of six participants selected by purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique in this study use content analysis. This study emerged six themes: the application of direct care, increasing patient independence in taking medication, changing patient/community understanding of mental disorders, notification of mental disorders in the community, multidimensional barriers in program implementation, and the importance of multisectoral support in program implementation. The researcher suggests that the community health centers can improve their coordination through joint proposals from the Health Service to terms of overcome the shortage of nurses, increasing the allocation of funds for the smooth running of activities, and providing support from various cross-sectors for the smooth implementation of the CMHN program.
