Kelompok usaha bersama (kube) merupakan salah satu bentuk dari pendidikan nonformal yang dibentuk untuk menjembatani masyarakat dalam mendapatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan pengalaman melalui suatu kelompok. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bentuk program sosial kelompok usaha bersama (kube) bagi masyarakat gampong mee peuduek, kecamatan trienggadeng, pidie jaya. dalam menganalisis fenomena tersebut penelitian ini menggunakan teori community development oleh riyadi dan bratakusumah dengan metode kualitatif pendekatan naratif. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kelompok usaha bersama (kube) gampong mee peuduek dibentuk secara bersama guna meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia agar mampu memasuki dunia kerja dan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan hidupnya. program yang dilaksanakan oleh kelompok usaha bersama gampong mee peuduek yaitu pelatihan menjahit. namun dari pelatihan ini tidak semua peserta menunjukkan keberhasilan. keberhasilan program kube pada masing-masing peserta tergantung pada usaha menjahit yang telah dibuka oleh mereka. bagi mereka yang memandang kube dengan “keterbatasan”, mereka belum menunjukan keberhasilan dari pelatihan yang diikutinya. hal ini disebabkan adanya sifat ketergantungan mereka pada dana bantuan sosial, sehingga mereka kecewa program kube tidak memberikan uang namun hanya sekedar pelatihan. dengan kekecewaan tersebut mereka tidak memiliki motivasi untuk membuka usaha menjahit, sehingga tujuan dari dibentuknya kube dalam meningkatkan perekonomian perempuan di gampong mee peuduek tidak terealisasikan pada beberapa peserta. namun berbeda halnya dengan peserta yang memandang bahwa program kube sangat bermanfaat bagi mereka, karena dengan adanya program ini mereka mendapatkan keterampilan, modal perlengkapan dan peralatan usaha menjahit. sehingga dengan adanya pandangan tersebut mereka termotivasi untuk mengikuti pelatihan dengan sungguh-sungguh dan menunjukan keberhasilannya pada usaha menjahit yang telah mereka buka. dengan dibukanya usaha menjahit tersebut mereka dapat meningkatkan pendapatannya, yang awalnya pendapatan mereka rp 200.000 - rp 350.000 perbulan, saat ini rp 1.000.000 – rp 5.000.000 perbulan. kata kunci: kube, pengembangan masyarakat, pembangunan

KUBE is a form of non-formal education that is formed to bridge the community in gaining knowledge, skills and experience through a group. This study aims to look at the form of the Joint Business Group Social program (KUBE) for the people of Gampong Mee Peuduek, Trienggadeng District, Pidie Jaya. In analyzing this phenomenon, this study uses the Community Development theory by Riyadi and Bratakusumah with a qualitative method of narrative approach. The results of this study indicate that the Gampong Mee Peuduek Joint Business Group (KUBE) was formed together to improve the quality of human resources so that they are able to enter the world of work and can improve their welfare. The program implemented by the Gampong Mee Peuduek Joint Business Group is sewing training. However, from this training, not all participants showed success. The success of the KUBE program for each participant depends on the sewing business that has been opened by them. For those who view KUBE with “limitations”, they have not shown the success of the training they have attended. This is due to the nature of their dependence on social assistance funds, so they are disappointed that the KUBE program does not provide money but only provides training. With this disappointment, they did not have the motivation to open a sewing business, so the purpose of the establishment of KUBE in improving the women's economy in Gampong Mee Peuduek was not realized for some participants. However, it was different from the participants who saw that the KUBE Program was very beneficial for them, because with this program they gained skills, capital equipment and sewing business equipment. So with this view they are motivated to take the training seriously and show their success in the sewing business they have opened. With the opening of the sewing business, they can increase their income, which was initially Rp. 200,000 - Rp. 350,000 per month, now Rp. 1,000,000 - Rp. 5,000,000 per month.
