Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis mikoriza dan varietas terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi cabai. penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok, faktorial 3 x 3 dengan 3 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 27 unit percobaan. faktor yang diteliti ialah jenis mikoriza, terdiri dari tiga taraf yaitu mikoriza glomus mosseae, mikoriza gigaspora sp. dan mikoriza campuran dan varietas cabai, terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu laju f1, lado f1 dan baja f1. hasil penelitian menunjukkan jenis mikoriza berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah buah pertanaman, berat buah pertanaman dan persentase akar terkolonisasi mikoriza. jenis mikoriza yang lebih baik terdapat pada jenis mikoriza gigaspora sp. interaksi antara jenis mikoriza dengan beberapa varietas cabai merah sangat nyata terhadap diameter batang 15 hspt dan jumlah buah pertanaman serta interaksi nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman 15 hspt, berat kering keseluruhan tanaman dan berat basah akar. kombinasi perlakuan yang lebih baik terdapat pada jenis mikoriza gigaspora sp. dengan varietas laju f1.



Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effect of mycorrhizal types and varieties on the growth and production of chilies. The study used a randomized block design, factorial 3 x 3 with 3 replications, so there were 27 experimental units. The factor studied was the type of mycorrhiza, consisting of three levels, namely Mycorrhizal Glomus mosseae, Mycorrhizal Gigaspora sp. and mixed mycorrhiza and chili varieties, consisting of 3 levels, namely Laju F1, Lado F1 and Baja F1. The results showed that the type of mycorrhizae had a very significant effect on the number of fruit planted, fruit weight planted and the percentage of mycorrhizal colonized roots. The better type of mycorrhiza was found in Gigaspora sp. mycorrhiza. The interaction between mycorrhizal species and several varieties of red chili was very significant on stem diameter at 15 days after transplanting (DAT) and the number of fruits planted as well as significant interaction with plant height at 15 DAT, total plant dry weight and fresh weight of roots. The better treatment combination was found in the Gigaspora sp. mycorrhiza with the Laju F1 variety.
