Abstrak salah satu permasalahan yang sering terjadi di gampong adalah ketidak puasan masyarakat terhadap kepemimpinan keuchik dan aparatur gampong, yang biasanya menimbulkan protes, ketidak pedulian masyarakat, dan kurang harmonisnya hubungan keuchik dengan aparatur yang berujung kepada berkurangnya pelayanan aparatur gampong kepada masyarakat. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan keuchik gampong teureubeh kecamatan kota jantho kabupaten aceh besar dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pelayanan aparatur gampong. sebagai acuan dalam penelitian ini, peneliti berpijak pada pendapat para ahli tentang teori kepemimpinan diantaranya gaya kepemimpinan, tipe kepemimpinan dan aspek kepemimpinan dalam sebuah organisasi. penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data primer berupa hasil wawancara 8 orang informan penelitian yang terdiri dari keuchik dan aparatur gampong teureubeh, ditambah dengan hasil observasi. sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari studi dokumentasi. pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam observasi dan dokumentasi. analisis data yang digunakan terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor kepemimpinan keuchik yang ditinjau dari 4 aspek kepemimpinan yaitu pengarahan, koordinasi dan komunikasi, pengambilan keputusan dan pengawasan menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan keuchik teureubeh yang demokratis yang ditinjau dari 4 aspek kepemimpinan tersebut telah memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap pelayanan aparatur gampong kepada masyarakat sehingga menjadi lebih efektif. untuk meningkatkan perekonomian, pemerintah gampong teurebeh bersama masyarakat hendaknya mengembangkan potensi daerah terutama sektor ekonomi dan pariwisata. kata kunci: kepemimpinan, keuchik/aparatur gampong.

ABSTRACT One of the problems that often occurs in the gampong is the community's dissatisfaction with the leadership of the Keuchik and the gampong apparatus, which usually causes protests, ignorance of the community, and the lack of harmony in the relationship between the Keuchik and the apparatus which leads to reduced service by the gampong apparatus to the community. This study aims to determine the leadership style of the Keuchik gampong Teureubeh sub-district of Jantho City, Aceh Besar district in improving the effectiveness of the service of the gampong apparatus. As a reference in this study, researchers rely on the opinions of experts about leadership theory including leadership styles, leadership types and aspects of leadership in an organization. This research is descriptive qualitative with the primary data source in the form of interviews with 8 research informants consisting of Keuchik and Teureubeh village officials, plus the results of observations. While the secondary data comes from the study of documentation. Collecting data using in-depth interview techniques, observation and documentation. The data analysis used consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that Keuchik's leadership factors which are viewed from 4 aspects of leadership namely direction, coordination and communication, decision making and supervision indicate that Keuchik Teureubeh's democratic leadership in terms of these 4 aspects of leadership has had a major influence on the service of the gampong apparatus to the community so that be more effective. To improve the economy, the Teurebeh village government together with the community should develop regional potential, especially the economic and tourism sectors.
