ABSTRACT Name : Nia Zahara Student Number : 1806202020023 Department/Program : English Education Title : Form and values of Seumapa at Wedding Ceremonies in Meureudu Pidie Jaya Keywords: Form, Values, Seumapa Seumapa is a procession in wedding ceremonies that is reciprocated rhymes between syech from darabaro and syech from linto baro. In this research, researchers focus on the form and values of seumapa. Researchers emphasize the seumapa's form and values in this study. The purpose of this research is to determine the seumapa's form and values. This study uses a qualitative research design and descriptive analysis. The data for this study came through Meureudu observations, interviews, and direct searches. In this study, it was found that the form consists of three parts, namely, micro structure, super structure and macro structure, while the values of seumapa consist of social community and social practice. The results of this study found that the form of seumapa consists of 9 or 10 parts, namely 1 and 2 are the introduction, 3 and 7 are the contents, while 8 and 10 are the closing. The values of this research are seen from the meaning in how there is a social practice and a social community, namely the customs, culture and habits of the society in Meureudu Pidie Jaya.
