Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh gaya kepimpinan demokratis dan motivasi intrinsik terhadap kinerja pegawai yang dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja sekretariat daerah kabupaten gayo lues. metode pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus dengan sampel 139 pegawai. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel gaya kepimpinan demokratis dan motivasi intrinsik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, variabel gaya kepimpinan demokratis berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, motivasi intrinsik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan kepuasan kerja bepengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. selanjutnya, variabel kepuasan kerja memediasi secara parsial antara gaya kepimpinan demokratis terhadap kinerja pegawai dan kepuasan kerja memediasi secara penuh motivasi intrinsik terhadap kinerja pegawai . kata kunci : gaya kepimpinan demokratis, motivasi intrinsik, kepuasan kerja dan kinerja pegawai



Abstract

The purpose of the is examine the effect of Democratic Leadership Style and Intrinsic Motivation on Employee Performance mediated by Job Satisfaction at the Regional Secretariat of Gayo Lues Regency. The sampling method in this study used the Census Method with the research are 139 employee. The results of this study indicate that the variables of Democratic Leadership Style and Intrinsic Motivation have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, the variable of democratic leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and job satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Employee Performance. Furthermore, the variable Job Satisfaction partially mediates between Democratic Leadership Style on Employee Performance and Job Satisfaction fully mediates Intrinsic Motivation on Employee Performance.
