Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh suatu masalah yaitu masih rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. salah satu alternatif pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan untuk mendorong hasil belajar siswa yaitu dengan pemilihan model pembelajaran yang tepat terhadap materi tertentu, salah satunya yaitu model pembelajaran learning cycle 7e. model pembelajaran learning cycle 7e adalah rangkaian kegiatan (tahapan) yang disusun sedemikian rupa sehingga siswa dapat memahami kemampuan yang harus dicapai dalam belajar dengan menjalankan fungsi yang aktif dalam rencana belajar yang sistematis untuk menuai tujuan pembelajaran dan sebagai perangkat dalam proses pembelajaran. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran learning cycle 7e pada materi program linear di kelas xi sman 5 banda aceh. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuatitatif dan jenis penelitian pre-experiment desain dengan desain one shot case study. populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas x mia sman 5 banda aceh dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga mendapatkan sampel seluruh siswa kelas x mia 1 sebanyak 31 siswa. teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan posttest setelah ada penerapan dari model learning cycle 7e sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t-test. hasil analisis data yang diperoleh t_hitung≥t_tabel yaitu 2,33 >2,02. sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model learning cycle 7e pada materi progam linear dapat mencapai kategori baik

This research is motivated by a problem, namely the low student learning outcomes. One alternative learning that can be applied to encourage student learning outcomes is by choosing the right learning model for certain materials, one of which is the Learning Cycle 7E learning model. the Learning Cycle 7E learning model is a series of activities (stages) arranged in such a way that students can understand the abilities that must be achieved in learning by carrying out active functions in a systematic study plan to achieve learning goals and as a tool in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine student learning outcomes after applying the Learning Cycle 7E learning model to linear programming material in class XI SMAN 5 Banda Aceh. This study uses a quantitative approach and the type of research is Pre-Experiment Design with a one shot case study design. The research population was all students of class X MIA 5 SMAN 5 Banda Aceh with the sampling technique using a purposive sampling technique so as to get a sample of all students in class X MIA 1 as many as 31 students. The data collection technique used the posttest after the application of the 7E Learning Cycle model, while the data analysis technique used the t-test. The results of data analysis obtained by t_count≥t_table are 2.33 > 2.02. So, it can be concluded that student learning outcomes through the application of the 7E Learning Cycle model in linear program material can reach the good category
