Kata kunci: suasana hati, proses berkarya seni lukis penelitian yang berjudul “pengaruh suasana hati (mood) pelukis terhadap proses berkarya seni lukis”. rumusan masalahnya “bagaimana pengaruh suasana hati (mood) pelukis terhadap proses berkarya seni lukis?”. tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh suasana hati (mood) pelukis terhadap proses berkarya seni lukis. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mix methods dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu pelukis yang produktif dan berdomisili di banda aceh dan aceh besar yakni 30 orang. adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. uji validitas instrument menggunakan spss versi 24 dan microsoft excel dan uji reliabilitas instrument menggunakan rumus cronbach’s alpha. adapun variabel bebas (x) ialah suasana hati sedangkan variabel terikat (y) adalah proses berkarya seni lukis. teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya faktor yang mempengaruhi suasana hati (mood) pelukis terhadap proses berkarya seni lukis. berdasarkan hasil dari observasi dan wawancara serta olah data menunjukkan bahwa persentase dari suasana hati (mood) pelukis memiliki nilai yang signifikasinya tinggi terhadap proses berkarya seni lukis. melalui fdms (four dimension mood scale) dapat diketahui bahwa adanya pengaruh suasana hati (mood) pelukis (x) terhadap proses berkarya seni lukis (y) sebanyak 78,28%. sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa h0 ditolak dan h1 diterima, yang berarti “ada pengaruh suasana hati pelukis terhadap proses berkarya seni lukis”.

Keywords: Mood, Painting Process The research entitled "The Influence of the Mood of Painters on the Process of Painting". The formulation of the problem is "How does the mood of the painter affect the process of creating a painting?". The purpose of this research is to find out how the mood of the painter affects the process of creating a painting. This study used a mix methods approach with a descriptive research type. The subjects in this study were painters who were productive and domiciled in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar, namely 30 people. The data collection techniques used in this study are interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Test the validity of the instrument using SPSS version 24 and Microsoft Excel and test the reliability of the instrument using the Cronbach's Alpha formula. The independent variable (X) is the mood while the dependent variable (Y) is the process of creating a painting. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that there are factors that influence the mood of the painter towards the process of creating a painting. Based on the results of observations and interviews as well as data processing, it shows that the percentage of the mood (Mood) of the painter has a high significant value in the process of creating a painting. Through the FDMS (Four Dimension Mood Scale) it can be seen that there is an influence of the mood (Mood) of the painter (X) on the process of creating painting (Y) as much as 78.28%. So it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means "There is an influence of the mood of the painter on the process of creating art".
