Abstrak stres kerja yang dialami perawat diakibatkan beberapa faktor diantaranya kelelahan karena kondisi jam kerja yang terlalu padat, tuntutan pekerjaan yang banyak dan keluhan keluarga pasien. hal ini berdampak pada kinerja perawat yang menurun dalam melayani pasien. tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat stres kerja perawat di rsud yulidin away, aceh selatan. jenis penelitian ini berupa kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain “cross sectional” dengan populasi sebanyak 304 perawat yang bekerja di rsud yulidin away, aceh selatan. teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 74 orang. alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner yang terdiri dari 25 pernyataan. teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada perawat. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat stres kerja yang dialami perawat berada pada kategori sedang sebanyak 54 (72,9%) responden. yang bermakna bahwa mayoritas perawat di rsud yulidin away, aceh selatan mengalami stres kerja pada tingkat sedang.

ABSTRACT Occupational stress experienced by nurses may cause due to several factors such as fatigue because of the busy working hour, job demand, and family’s patient complaint. This condition may influence the nurse’s working performance which may decrease in giving care to the patients. The aim of this research was to find out the overview of occupational stress level among nurses in Yulidin Away Regional Public Hospital, Aceh Selatan. This research was descriptive quantitative research. This research used cross sectional design with consisted of 304 nurses working in Yulidin Away Regional Public Hospital, Aceh Selatan. The sample was chosen by using purposive sampling technique with 74 respondents. The data collection used questionnaires with 25 questionnaires. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires among nurses. The result of the research revealed that the occupational stress level was experienced by 54 nurses (72.9%) which showed that it was on the medium level. It is concluded that the majority of the nurses in Yulidin Away Regional Public Hospital, Aceh Selatan experienced medium occupational stress.
