Penelitian yang telah dilakukan ini berjudul pengaruh limbah cair pabrik kelapa sawit terhadap pertumbuhan pakchoy (brassica rapa l.) secara hidroponik sistem sumbu (wick system). penelitian dimulai sejak bulan september 2021 hingga agustus 2022 dan dilaksanakan di naungan pekarangan edukasi pangan (nakasipan) dinas pangan pemerintah aceh, banda aceh. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui potensi dan mendapatkan konsentrasi optimal lcpks sebagai nutrisi tanaman pakchoy dengan sistem hidroponik. penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (ral). terdapat 6 perlakuan yaitu p0 (1000 ml aquadest), p1 (1000 ml larutan ab mix), p2 (800 ml lcpks dan 200 ml aquadest), p3 (600 ml lcpks dan 400 ml aquadest), p4 (400 ml lcpks dan 600 ml aquadest), dan p5 (200 ml lcpks dan 800 ml aquadest) dengan 4 pengulangan sehingga diperoleh hasil 24 unit eksplan percobaan. berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian lcpks dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan pakchoy. tanaman perlakuan p2, p3, dan p4 mengalami kematian karena kadar tds (total dissolved solids) yang masih sangat tinggi dan dibuktikan kandungan kadar tds. perlakuan p5 ialah perlakuan dengan konsentrasi lcpks yang paling baik, namun diduga pada nutrisi tersebut masih memiliki racun yang dapat menghambat pertumbuhan tanaman pakchoy. kata kunci: brassica rapa l., hidroponik, limbah cair pabrik kelapa sawit (lcpks), tds (total dissolved solids)



Abstract

The research that has been carried out is entitled Effect of Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) On The Growth of Pakchoy (Brassica rapa L.) Using Hydroponic Wick System. The research started from September 2021 to August 2022 and was carried out at the Naungan Pekarangan Edukasi Pangan (NAKASIPAN) of the Aceh Government Food Service, Banda Aceh. The purpose of this study was to determined the potential and obtained the optimal concentration of POME as a hydroponic nutrient for pakchoy. This study used an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). There are 6 treatments, namely P0 (1000 mL aquadest), P1 (1000 mL AB mix solution), P2 (800 mL POME and 200 mL aquadest), P3 (600 mL POME and 400 mL aquadest), P4 (400 mL POME and 600 mL aquadest), and P5 (200 mL POME and 800 mL aquadest) with 4 repetitions to obtain 24 experimental explant units. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the administration of POME with different concentrations affected the growth of pakchoy. Treatment plant of P2, P3, and P4 experienced death due to very high levels of TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) and was proven by TDS levels content. P5 treatment was with the best concentration of POME, but it was suspected that the nutrients still have toxics that can inhibit the growth of pakchoy.
