Penelitian ini berjudul “persepsi masyarakat lhoknga terhadap pemekaran kabupaten aceh besar ”. dalam penelitian ini peneliti mendeskripsikan bagaimana persepsi masyarakat lhoknga terhadap pemekaran. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk ingin melihat sejauh mana proses pemekaran kabupaten aceh besar. dan perkembanganya selama beberapa tahun terakhir.faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat lhoknga terhadap pemekaran. penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan narartif. pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara kepada informan yang dipilih dengan purposive sampling. kemudian penelitian ini menggunakan teori interaksionalisme simbolik herbert blumer sebagai acuan dalam melaksanakan penelitian tersebut. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana persepsi masyarakat lhoknga terhadap pemekaran.dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat lhoknga terhadap pemekaran.hasil penelitian ini persepsi masyarakat lhoknga terhadap pemekaran. sudah berjalan dengan baik, karena didukung oleh faktor peran setiap elemen yang terlibat, masyarakat sebagai elemen paling penting memberika respon yang baik, dan itu sangat baik, melihat proses pemekaran yang sangat lama dan berliku-liku, dari hasil beberapa wawancara dengan informan, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa masyarakat sudah yakin akan terwujud pemekaran, tetapi memang estimasi waktu masih beberapa tahun lagi, masyarakat juga sangat mengapresiasi apa yang dilakukan oleh panitia dan berharap pemekaran segera terwujud, yang membuat masyarakat lebih antusias adalah sudah ditentukan ibukota dalam rapat anggota kepanitiaan yang diwakili oleh semua daerah, dan juga pemasukan berkas sudah dalam tahap akhir, ini yang kemudian menimbulkan harapan bagi masyarakat, mereka berharap secepatnya dapat terlaksanan pemekaran, tetapi kembali lagi semua butuh proses dan juga harus mengikuti prosedur hukum yang berlaku, tetapi sejauh ini progress yang ditunjukan sangat positif, penitian menjalankan tugas dengan baik masyarakat mendukung dengan sangat antusias, jadi itu merupakan hal yang positif yang harus terus ditunjukan. kata kunci : persepsi, pemekaran, masyarakat

This research is entitled "The lhoknga community's perception of the expansion of Aceh Besar District". In this study, researchers describe how the Lhoknga community's perception of the expansion. This study aims to see how far the process of the division of Aceh Besar District is. and its development over the last few years. Factors influencing the Lhoknga community's perception of pemekaran. This research was conducted with a qualitative method and a narrative approach. Data was collected by means of observation, documentation and interviews with selected informants by purposive sampling. Then this study uses Herbert Blumer's Symbolic Interactionalism theory as a reference in carrying out the research. The purpose of this study is to describe how the Lhoknga community's perception of expansion and the factors that influence the Lhoknga's perception of expansion. The results of this study are the Lhoknga community's perception of expansion. has been going well, because it is supported by the role of each element involved, the community as the most important element gave a good response, and that was very good, seeing the process of expansion which was very long and tortuous, from the results of several interviews with informants, the researcher concluded that the community is sure that the expansion will materialize, but the estimated time is still a few years away, the community also really appreciates what the committee has done and hopes that the expansion will be realized soon, what makes the community more enthusiastic is that the capital has been determined in a committee member meeting represented by all regions , and also the submission of files is in the final stage, this then raises hope for the community, they hope that the expansion can be carried out as soon as possible, but again everything needs a process and must also follow the applicable legal procedures, but so far the progress shown is very positive, progress operate a job well done the community supports it very enthusiastically, so it's a positive thing to have continue to show.
