Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas implementasi program adiwiyata, dan karakter peduli lingkungan. pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan oktober sampai dengan november 2019. metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei (explanatory survey). populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 775 orang dengan responden terdiri atas kepala/wakil kepala sekolah, koordinator adiwiyata, tenaga pendidik, tenaga administrasi, dan peserta didik. kemudian sampel peserta didik diambil secara proportionate stratified random sampling dengan menggunakan rumus slovin sehingga menjadi 250 peserta didik. instrumen penelitian berupa wawancara untuk mengukur efektivitas program adiwiyata dan karakter peduli lingkungan, kuisioner untuk mengukur efektivitas program adiwiyata dan pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan peserta didik yang saling berkaitan dengan pendidikan lingkungan hidup, dan studi dokumentasi untuk efektivitas program adiwiyata. analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi sederhana. hasil korelasi hubungan program adiwiyata dengan peduli lingkungan dengan nilai r = 0,18 dengan tingkat korelasi yang rendah dan nilai uji-t adalah thitung = 7,47 > ttabel = 1,96. efektivitas program adiwiyata mendapatkan kategori baik dengan persentase 50,6 % dan karakter peduli lingkungan peserta didik mendapatkan kategori sangat sesuai dengan persentase 49,34%. dapat disimpulkan bahwa efektivitas implementasi program adiwiyata berjalan dengan efektif, program adiwiyata sudah berjalan dengan baik dalam pengembangan karakter peduli lingkungan, dan terdapat hubungan antara efektivitas implementasi program adiwiyata dengan karakter peduli lingkungan pada peserta didik di man 1 banda aceh. kata kunci: efektivitas, porgam adiwiyata, karakter peduli lingkungan



Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Adiwiyata program implementation, and environmental care character. Data collection was carried out in October until with November 2019. The method used in this study is a survey (explanatory survey). The population in this study amounted to 775 people with respondents consist of the principal/deputy principal, Adiwiyata coordinator, staff educators, administrative staff, and students. Then the sample of students is taken by Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling using the slovin formula so that it becomes 250 students. The research instrument in the form of interviews for measuring the effectiveness of the Adiwiyata program and the character of caring for the environment, a questionnaire to measure the effectiveness of the Adiwiyata program and the formation of caring characters environment of students that are interrelated with environmental education, and documentation studies for the effectiveness of the Adiwiyata program. Data analysis using a simple correlation test. The results of the correlation between the Adiwiyata program caring for the environment with a value of r = 0.18 with a low level of correlation and the t-test value is tcount = 7.47 > ttable = 1.96. The effectiveness of the Adiwiyata program get a good category with a percentage of 50.6% and environmental care character students get a very appropriate category with a percentage of 49.34%. Could concluded that the effectiveness of the Adiwiyata program implementation went well effective, the Adiwiyata program has been running well in character development care for the environment, and there is a relationship between the effectiveness of program implementation Adiwiyata with the character of caring for the environment in students at MAN 1 Banda Aceh.
