Introduction: Chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM) is a global health problem that is often encountered. This occurs because of an inflammatory perforation of the middle ear with a duration of more than 8 weeks. Various conditions are associated with the pathogenesis of this disease such as infection with the bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa. These bacteria can form biofilms that can cause antibiotic resistance. The need for history taking and physical examination as well as supporting CT-Scan mastoid, to see complications. Identification of bacterial growth by spectrophotometry and biofilm formation using the 96 well plate method quantitatively and the Scanning Electrone Microscope (SEM) qualitatively are required.
