Metode hidroakustik jamak digunakan dalam kegiatan pemetaan dan eksplorasi bawah laut, termasuk eksplorasi sumberdaya hayati dan non hayati. penelitian kemarin ini mengevaluasi acoustics backscattering yang dihasilkan oleh habitat bentik di sekitar kawasan lamun. akuisisi data lapangan dilakukan pada 13 maret 2022 di perairan krueng raya yang terbagi dalam tujuh stasiun. sampel sedimen diperoleh menggunakan metode coring sedangkan data akustik diperoleh menggunakan echosounder single beam simrad ek-15. hasil ekstraksi data akustik menunjukkan nilai volume backscatter strength (sv) dari e1 dasar perairan substrat berpasir tersebut berada pada rentang -13.82 db sampai -20.44 db, sedangkan nilai dari e2 berkisar -40.14 db sampai -59.66 db. hasil analisis sedimen menunjukkan bahwa fraksi pasir memiliki persentase rata-rata sebesar 96.02% dan fraksi pasir berlumpur dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 3.98%. nilai ukuran butiran rata-rata dari seluruh stasiun secara dominan berada pada rentang ukuran pasir halus. hasil analisis dari nilai standar deviasi (sorting) menunjukkan bahwa sedimen terpilah sedang (moderately sorted) dan terpilah cukup baik (moderately well sorted). kata kunci: hidroakustik, volume backscatter strength, sedimen, mean grain size, krueng raya



Abstract

The hydroacoustic method is widely used in underwater mapping and exploration activities, including exploration of biological and non-living resources. This research evaluated the backscattering acoustics produced by benthic habitats around seagrass areas. Field data acquisition was carried out on March 13, 2022 in the waters of Krueng Raya which was divided into seven stations. Sediment samples were obtained using the coring method while acoustic data were obtained using a single beam echosounder Simrad EK-15. The results of the acoustic data extraction show the volume backscattering strength (SV) value of E1 at the bottom of the sandy substrate in the range of -13.82 dB to -20.44 dB, while the value of E2 ranges from - 40.14 dB to -59.66 dB. The results of the sediment analysis showed that the sand fraction had an average percentage of 96.02% and the muddy sand fraction had an average percentage of 3.98%. The mean Grain value of all stations is dominantly in the Fine sand size range. The results of the analysis of the standard deviation values (Sorting) showed that the sediments are moderately sorted and moderately well sorted.
