Self actualization adalah motif yang mendorong individu untuk mengekspresikan potensi unik mereka dalam mewujudkan potensi mereka. sedangkan reinforcement merupakan sebuah respon yang diberikan berdasarkan stimulus yang baik, sehingga dapat memicu pengulangan perilaku yang diharapkan, serta melakukan modifikasi tingkah laku pendidik terhadap tingkah laku siswa yang bertujuan untuk memberikan umpan balik dari stimulus yang dilakukan oleh individu. tujuan penelitian ini adalah gambaran self actualization siswa dan pengaruh dari pemberian reinforcement untuk meningkatkan self actualization siswa smp negeri 1 idi rayeuk. sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas viii-1 sebagai kelas control dan viii-2 kelas treatment. pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan membagikan angket skala likert kepada siswa smp negeri 1 idi rayeuk. teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif persentase dan uji beda (uji t). hasil analisis yang diperoleh berdasarkan pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan klasikal dengan penerapan reinforcement sebagai upaya meningkatkan self actualization siswa, maka disimpulkan pelaksanaan perlakuan reinforcement menunjukkan perubahan setelah dilakukan post test yang terjadi pada 73% siswa berada pada kategori sedang. sedangkan perubahan yang diperoleh kelas control setelah dilaksanakan post test 6% siswa mengalami perubahan yang relatif sedikit (sebagian kecil), diduga disebabkan oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. kata kunci: self actualization, reinforcement, bimbingan klasikal

Self-actualization is the motive that drives individuals to express their unique potential in realizing their potential. While reinforcement is a response that is given based on a good stimulus, so that it can trigger the repetition of the expected behavior, as well as modifying the behavior of educators on student behavior which aims to provide feedback from the stimulus carried out by individuals. The purpose of this study is to describe the self-actualization of students and the effect of giving reinforcement to increase the self-actualization of students of SMP Negeri 1 Idi Rayeuk. The sample in this study were students of class VIII-1 as the control class and VIII-2 class of treatment. The research approach used a quantitative approach and data collection techniques were carried out by distributing Likert scale questionnaires to students of SMP Negeri 1 Idi Rayeuk. The data analysis technique used is descriptive percentage data analysis technique and different test (t test). The results of the analysis obtained based on the implementation of classical guidance services with the application of reinforcement as an effort to increase students' self-actualization, it was concluded that the implementation of reinforcement treatment showed changes after the post test that occurred in 73% of students were in the moderate category. While the changes obtained by the control class after the post test was carried out 6% of students experienced relatively small changes (a small part), thought to be caused by internal and external factors.
