Setiap proyek konstruksi memerlukan alat berat untuk beberapa jenis pekerjaan tanah khususnya pada saat melakukan galian dan timbunan, namun tidak mencakup semua jenis alat berat yang ada. salah satu nya pada pada proyek jalan tol padang tiji seulimum. tujuan penggunaan alat berat ini untuk memudahkan pekerjaan dan bisa menyelesaikannya dalam waktu yang relatif singkat. alat berat yang digunakan berupa excavator, dump truck, bulldozer, dan vibrator roller. penggunaan alat berat dapat dilihat dari besarnya kapasitas produksi dari alat tersebut. disamping itu efektivitas pekerjaan tanah juga tidak lepas dari metode pekerjaan dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pekerjaan tersebut. pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tinjauan kepustakaan dan observasi langsung. analisis dilakukan dengan teoritis dari tinjauan kepustakaan dan data yang diperoleh dari observasi di lapangan. berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dengan melakukan penambahan jumlah alat berat excavator, bulldozer, vibrator roller, dan dump truck pada pekerjaan tanah sehingga mempengaruhi waktu yang diperlukan untuk dapat menyelesaian pekerjaan tanah. tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui besar galian dan timbunan serta waktu pengggunaan alat berat dalam pemindahan dan pemadatan tanah pada pekerjaan pembangunan jalan di area proyek tol sigli-banda aceh pada seksi 1 yaitu padang tiji-seulimum sta 16+00 s/d 16+650. waktu yang diperlukan dalam melakukan penyelesaian pekerjaan tanah yang dipindahkan adalah 23 hari kalender atau 184 jam kerja. sedangkan waktu yang diperlukan untuk dapat melakukan penyelesaian pekerjaan tanah dipadatkan dilapangan adalah 246 hari kalender atau 1.968 jam kerja. kata kunci : pekerjaan tanah, alat berat, evaluasi, waktu kerja alat berat

Every construction project requires heavy equipment for several types of earthworks, especially when carrying out cut and fill, but does not cover all types of heavy equipment used. there is. One of them is on the Padang Tiji Seulimum Toll Road Project. The purpose of using this heavy equipment is to facilitate the work and can complete it in a relatively short time. Heavy equipment used in the form of excavators, dump trucks, bulldozers, and vibrator rollers. The use of heavy equipment can be seen from the large production capacity of the tool. Besides that, the effectiveness of earthworks cannot be separated from the method of work and the factors that affect the work. Data was collected by means of a literature review and direct observation. The analysis was carried out theoretically from a literature review and data obtained from field observations. The purpose of the study was to determine the size of excavation and embankment as well as the time of using heavy equipment in moving and compacting soil in road construction work in the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Road project area in section 1, namely Padang Tiji-Seulimum STA 16+00 to 16+650. Based on the results of the evaluation by adding the number of heavy equipment excavators, bulldozers, vibrator rollers, and dump trucks on earthworks so that it affects the time required to complete earthworks. The time required to complete the moved earthworks is 23 calendar days or 184 working hours.
