Abstrak kecerdasan interpersonal adalah kecerdasan yang diperlukan oleh setiap anak dalam menjalin hubungan sosial. kecerdasan interpersonal berhubungan terhadap konsep diri. apabila anak merasa diterima serta mampu berinteraksi di dalam lingkungannya maka akan terbentuk keyakinan akan eksistensi diri dan akan mempengaruhi perkembangan kepercayaan atau penerimaan terhadap dirinya. penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan kecerdasan interpersonal dengan konsep diri siswa sma negeri 1 glumpang tiga. jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner skala likert. populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas x dan xi yang terdiri dari 8 kelas yang berjumlah 154 siswa. alat ukur yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji linieritas. teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif persentase dan analisis korelasi. berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa: 1) gambaran kecerdasan interpersonal dan konsep diri siswa sma negeri 1 glumpang tiga berada pada kategori sedang. hal tersebut dilihat dari jumlah frekuensi jawaban kecerdasan interpersonal sebesar 65,6% (101 siswa), dan jawaban konsep diri siswa sebesar 68,6% (106 siswa), selebihnya berada di kategori rendah dan tinggi. 2) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan interpersonal dengan konsep diri siswa sma negeri 1 glumpang tiga, sehingga hipotesis ha dapat dinyatakan diterima kebenarannya. hal tersebut dilihat berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh diketahui pearson correlation (r) kedua variabel bersifat positif yaitu sebesar 0,721 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang berarti kurang dari 0,05. artinya kecerdasan interpersonal berhubungan positif dengan konsep diri siswa. kata kunci: kecerdasan interpersonal, konsep diri

ABSTRACT Interpersonal intelligence is the intelligence needed by every child in establishing social relationships. Interpersonal intelligence is related to self-concept. When children feel accepted and able to interact in their environment, a belief in their existence will be formed and will affect the development of trust or acceptance of themselves. This study aims to determine the relationship between interpersonal intelligence and self-concept of students in SMA Negeri 1 Glumpang Tiga. This type of research is descriptive correlation with a quantitative approach and data collection techniques through Likert scale questionnaires. The research population was all students of class X and XI which consisted of 8 classes totaling 154 students. The measuring instrument used is validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive percentage analysis and correlation analysis. Based on the results of the research and the results of data analysis that: 1) The description of interpersonal intelligence and self-concept of the students of SMA Negeri 1 Glumpang Tiga is in the medium category. This can be seen from the frequency of interpersonal intelligence answers by 65,6% (101 students), and students' self-concept answers by 68,6% (106 students), the rest are in the low and high categories. 2) There is a positive and significant relationship between interpersonal intelligence and the self-concept of the students of SMA Negeri 1 Glumpang Tiga, so that the hypothesis Ha can be accepted as true. This can be seen based on the results that the Pearson correlation (r) of the second variable is positive, which is 0.721 and the significance value is 0.000, which means less than 0.05.
