Abstrak tanah adalah tempat untuk mendirikan sebuah struktur maupun konstruksi bangunan, baik konstruksi bangunan gedung maupun konstruksi jalan, tanah merupakan salah satu material yang sudah tersedia di lapangan yang sangat ekonomis dan mudah didapatkan. dari masalah yang terjadi pada tanah timbunan sebagai bahan material kontruksi pada jalan tol, yaitu kurangnya pengecekan dan penelitian yang matang terhadap penilaian tanah timbunan. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penilaian kualitas tanah timbunan pada sta.38+680, sta.44+425 dan sta.37+26 ruas jalan tol sigli-banda aceh. pengujian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini meliputi pemadatan (standar proctor) (astm d 698) dan sifat fisis tanah meliputi berat jenis (specific gravity), batas cair (liquid limit) dan batas plastis (plastic limit) serta analisis ukuran butiran (particle size analysis). hasil pengujian dari sifat fisis tanah menunjukkan nilai gs berat jenis (specific grafity) pada sta.38+680 (l) adalah 2,51, sta.44+425(l) adalah 2,53, dan sta.37+260(r) adalah 2,55. untuk nilai (pi) pada sta.38+680(l) diperoleh 12,13%, sta.44+425 (l) diperoleh 16,55%, dan sta.37+260(r) diperoleh 8,99%. pemadatan (standar proctor) evaluasi berdasarkan aashto pada sta. 38+680(l), sta.44+425(l) dan sta.37+260(r) ini termasuk golongan a-2-4 dan a-2-6, sedangkan menurut uscs termasuk kedalam tanah pasir berlempung, campuran pasir lempung bergradasi buruk (sc). pemadatan maksimum yang diperoleh pada ketiga titik lokasi ini yaitu berkisar dari 1,49– 1,68 gr/cm3 dan nilai omc yang berkisar dari 18,22– 18,97. dengan demikian hasil penilaian bedasarkan nilai aashto, uscs dan angka kesesuaian (sn) terhadap tanah timbunan pada sta.38+680(l), sta.44+425(l) dan sta.37+260(r) adalah memenuhi syarat dengan kualifikasi cukup baik - sangat baik, kualitas tanah seperti ini sangat direkomendasikan sebagai material tanah timbunan. kata kunci : tanah timbunan, aashto, uscs, angkakesesuaian(sn).

ABSTRACT Land is a place to erect a structure or building construction, both building construction and road construction. Land is one of the materials that are already available in the field which is very economical and easy to obtain. From the problems that occur in embankment soil as a construction material on toll roads, namely the lack of careful checking and research on the assessment of embankment soil. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality assessment of the embankment soil at STA.38+680, STA.44+425 and STA.37+26 the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Road section. The tests carried out in this study include compaction (Standard Proctor) (ASTM D 698) and the physical properties of the soil include Specific Gravity, Liquid Limit and Plastic Limit and Particle Size Analysis. The test results from the physical properties of the soil showed that the specific gravity Gs value at STA.38+680 (L) was 2.51, STA.44+425(L) was 2.53, and STA.37+260(R) ) is 2.55. For the value (PI) at STA.38+680(L) it is obtained 12.13%, STA.44+425 (L) obtained 16.55%, and STA.37+260(R) obtained 8.99%. Compaction (standard proctor) Evaluation based on AASHTO on STA. 38+680(L), STA.44+425(L) and STA.37+260(R) belong to groups A-2-4 and A-2-6, while according to USCS they are classified as clay sand, a mixture of sand poorly graded clay (SC). The maximum compaction obtained at these three location points ranged from 1.49 to 1.68 gr/cm3 and the OMC value ranged from 18.22 to 18.97. Thus, the results of the assessment based on the AASHTO, USCS and Conformity Score (SN) for embankment soil at STA.38+680(L), STA.44+425(L) and STA.37+260(R) are eligible with qualifications quite good - very good, soil quality like this is highly recommended as fill soil material.
