Prarancangan pabrik ordinary portland cement (opc) ini direncanakan agar dapat memenuhi konsumsi semen nasional yang mengalami kenaikan pesat diiringi berlangsungnya program pemerintah yang bergerak dalam pengembangan infrastruktur yakni mp3ei (master plan percepatan dan perluasan pembangunan ekonomi indonesia). pada pabrik ordinary portland cement memanfaatkan batu kapur untuk dijadikan bahan baku utama sebagai sumber cao dan bone coal dijadikan sebagai sumber silika. kapasitas produksi pada pabrik opc ini yakni sebesar 450.000 ton/tahun. tahap-tahap yang dijalankan dalam proses produksi ordinary portland cement meliputi: (1) persiapan bahan baku, (2) homogenasi bahan baku, (3) pembakaran dan pendinginan raw mix, (4) proses penggilingan klinker, (5) pengantongan. kebutuhan pemakaian listrik untuk kebutuhan unit proses, unit utilitas dan penerangan pabrik dan kantor sebesar 29,3 mw yang diperoleh dari generator sendiri dengan menggunakan bahan bakar solar. pabrik ini menggunakan bahan bakar batubara jenis subituminus untuk mencapai temperatur proses pembakaran di dalam kiln. bentuk organisasi pada prarancangan pabrik ordinary portland cement ialah bentuk organisasi dengan struktur garis dan staf dalam bentuk perusahaan yang direncanakan yaitu perseroan terbatas (pt). kebutuhan tenaga kerja untuk menjalankan perusahaan ini berjumlah 160 orang dengan waktu kerja ialah 330 hari per tahun. lokasi pabrik opc ini direncanakan didirikan di kecamatan labuhan haji, kabupaten aceh selatan, provinsi aceh dengan luas tanah 45.000 m2. sumber air untuk pabrik opc ini berasal dari sungai simpang, kecamatan labuhan haji, kabupaten aceh selatan, provinsi aceh. hasil analisa ekonomi yang diperoleh adalah: fixed capital investment = rp. 492.207.574.275 working capital investment = rp. 86.767.575.520 total capital investment = rp. 578.975.149.794 total biaya produksi = rp. 339.670.987.445 hasil penjualan = rp. 585.000.000.000 laba bersih = rp. 159.463.858.161 pay back period (pbp) = 2,29 tahun rate of return (ror) = 27,54% break even point (bep) = 21,71% internal rate of return (irr) = 33,24 % keywords: semen, ordinary portland cement, batu kapur, bone coal, proses kering.

Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) factory’s pre draft planned in order to meet the national cement consumption that has rapid increase is accompanied by the continuation of government programs that move in the development of infrastructure, namely MP3EI (Master Plan Percepatan dan Perluasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Indonesia). Ordinary Portland Cement factory on utilizing the limestone to be used as the main raw material as a source of the CaO and Bone Coal made of raw materials as a source of silica. Production capacity at OPC factory is amounting to 450.000 tons/year. The level of cement fineness (blaine) OPC are amounting to 3000 cm2/gr. The stages in the production process run in Ordinary Portland Cement includes : (1) preparation of raw materials, (2) Homogeneous, (3) Burning and cooling (4) the process of grinding Clinker, (5) bagging. Needs in electricity use for the needs of the process unit, the unit of utilities and lighting factory and Office of 29,3 MW derived from its own generator using coal fuel. The factory uses coal fuel type subituminus to reach the temperature of the combustion process in the kiln. Form of organization in the Ordinary Portland Cement factory’s pre draft is structure and organizations with staff in the form of a planned company that is Perseroan Terbatas (PT). Labor needs to run this company amounted to 160 people with working time is 330 days per year. The location of the factory is planned for this OPC was founded in, Labuhan Haji, South Aceh, Aceh province with a land area of 45,000 m2. The source of water for the OPC factory derives from Simpang River, Labuhan Haji, South Aceh, Aceh.
