Abstrak prarancangan pabrik margarin ini akan menggunakan red palm oil (rpo) sebagai bahan baku utama. kapasitas pabrik margarin ini adalah 10.000 ton/tahun dengan hari kerja 330 hari/tahun. bentuk perusahaan yang direncanakan adalah perseron terbatas (pt) dengan menggunakan metode stuktur garis dan staf. kebutuhan tenaga kerja untuk menjalankan perusahaan ini berjumlah 95 orang. lokasi pabrik akan didirikan di kabupaten karawang, provinsi jawa barat dengan luas tanah 24.000 m2. sumber air pabrik margarin ini akan diambil dari sungai citarum, kabupaten karawang dan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan listrik akan diperoleh dari perusahaan listrik negara (pln) dan generator berbahan bakar minyak solar. hasil analisa ekonomi yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut: 1. fixed capital investment (fci) = rp. 204.709.469.753 2. working capital investment (wci) = rp. 34.626.536.659 3. total capital investment (tci) = rp. 239.336.006.413 4. total production cost (tpc) = rp. 227.292.352.051 5. sales cost (sc) = rp. 345.221.286.555 6. laba bersih = rp. 102.008.528.346 7. pay out time (pot) = 1.95 tahun 8. break event point (bep) = 37,10 % 9. internal rate of return (irr) = 18,66 %

Abstract
ABSTRACT The Margarine plant design will use red palm oil (RPO) as the main raw material. The capacity of Margarine plant is 10.000 ton/year with 330 working day/year. The company form is Perseroan Terbatas (PT) using the line and staff structure method. The labor requirements for this company are 95 people. The location of this plant will be established in Karawang, West Java with a land area of 24.000 m2. The water of this plant will be taken from the Citarum river, West Java and the requirement of electricity will be obtained from Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) and diesel-fueled generator. The results of economic analysis obtained are as follows: 1. Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) = Rp. 204.709.469.753 2. Working Capital Investment (WCI) = Rp. 34.626.536.659 3. Total Capital Investment (TCI) = Rp. 239.336.006.413 4. Total Production Cost (TPC) = Rp. 227.292.352.051 5. Sales Cost (SC) = Rp. 345.221.286.555 6. Laba Bersih = Rp. 102.008.528.346 7.
