Terdapat tiga jenis gaya belajar siswa yang digunakan dalam penelitian, yaitu visual, auditori dan kinestetik serta terdapat empat jenis gaya berpikir yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu sekuensial konkret (sk), sekuensial abstrak (sa), acak konkret (ak) dan acak abstrak (aa). penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat pemahaman konsep fisika jika ditinjau dari gaya belajar dan gaya berpikir yang dimiliki siswa. selain itu juga mengkaji gaya belajar dan gaya berpikir yang paling tinggi mempengaruhi tingkat pemahaman konsep. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode survey dan teknik deskriptif. populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua siswa sman 9 banda aceh, sedangkan sampelnya adalah 116 siswa kelas 2 sma negeri 9 banda aceh. analisis data menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan triangulasi data. hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa persentase tingkatan pemahaman konsep level (1) tidak memahami lebih mendominasi daripada tingkatan pemahaman konsep lainnya.selain itu diperoleh bahwa gaya belajar kinestetik tinggi mempengaruhi tingkat pemahaman konsep dibandingkan dengan gaya belajar visual. adapun gaya berpikir, ditemukan bahwa gaya gaya berpikir sekuensial konkret lebih dominan dalam mempengaruhi tingkat pemahaman konsep dibandingkan dengan gaya berpikir lainnya. kata kunci: tingkat pemahaman konsep fisika, gaya belajar, gaya berpikir siswa

There are three types of student learning styles used in the study, namely visual, auditory and kinesthetic and there are four types of thinking styles used in this study, namely Concrete Sequential (SK), Abstract Sequential (SA), Concrete Random (AK) and Random (AA). This study aims to analyze the level of understanding of physics concepts in terms of students' learning styles and thinking styles. In addition, it also examines learning styles and thinking styles that most influence the level of concept understanding. This study uses a quantitative approach, survey methods and descriptive techniques. The population in this study were all students of SMAN 9 Banda Aceh, while the sample was 116 grade 2 students of SMA Negeri 9 Banda Aceh. Data analysis used descriptive statistical test and data triangulation. The results of the analysis show that the level of understanding of the concept level (1) Do not understand more dominates than the level of understanding of other concepts. In addition, it is obtained that a high kinesthetic learning style affects the level of understanding of concepts with a visual learning style. As for the thinking style, it was found that the concrete sequential thinking style was more dominant in influencing the level of concept understanding compared to other thinking styles.
