Identifikasi dan distribusi reseptor androgen pada duktus deferen sapi aceh menggunakan teknik imunohistokimia abstrak hormon androgen berperan penting dalam perkembangan dan fungsi organ reproduksi jantan seperti duktus deferen. hal tersebut dapat diketahui berdasarkan sebaran reseptor hormon androgen pada jaringan duktus deferen. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sebaran dan ekspresi reseptor androgen pada jaringan duktus deferen sapi aceh menggunakan teknik pewarnaan imunohistokimia (ihk). pada penelitian ini digunakan lima sampel jaringan duktus deferen sapi aceh dewasa yang dibagi menjadi bagian distal, medial, dan proximal lalu diproses secara histoteknik dan diwarnai dengan pewarnaan ihk metode avidin biotin complex peroxidase (abc method). distribusi ar dianalisis secara deskriptif sedangkan ekspresi ar pada bagian distal, medial, dan proximal duktus deferen dinilai dengan pemberian skor intensitas (intensity score). data skor intensitas dianalisis menggunakan uji non parametrik kruskal-wallis dan uji lanjut mann whitney u test. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa distribusi ar ditemukan pada tunika mukosa, tunika muskularis, dan tunika serosa duktus deferen di bagian proximal, medial, dan distal yaitu pada sel epitel, sel otot polos, dan jaringan ikat intertubular. berdasarkan hasil uji statistik tidak terdapat perbedaan yang nyata ekspresi ar pada sel epitel, sel otot polos, dan jaringan ikat intertubular antara bagian proximal, medial, dan distal (p>0.05). kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ar yang tersebar pada bagian proximal, medial, dan distal duktus deferen sapi aceh dengan intensitas sedang. hal ini mengindikasikan adanya peran hormon androgen dalam fungsi duktus deferen. kata kunci: duktus deferen, reseptor androgen, sapi aceh, pewarnaan imunohistokimia.



Abstract

IDENTIFICATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF ANDROGEN RECEPTORS IN THE DUCTUS DEFERENS OF ACEH CATTLE USING IMMUOHISTOCHEMICAL TECHNIQUES ABSTRACT Androgen hormones play an important role in influencing the development and function of male reproductive organs such as the ductus deferens. This can be known based on the distribution of androgen receptors in the ductus deferens tissue. This study aims to determine the distribution and expression of androgen receptor (AR) in the ductus deferens tissue of Aceh cattle using the immunohistochemical (IHC) staining. In this study, five samples of ductus deferens sinister were used and then divided into distal, medial, and proximal sections and processed in histological manner and preparations were stained using avidin biotin complex peroxidase (ABC method) method of IHC staining. The distribution of AR was analysed descriptively whereas the AR expression in distal, medial, and proximal of ductus deferens was evaluated by intensity score. Furthermore, data of intensity score were analysed using a non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis and followed by Mann Whitney U Test. The results showed that AR was distributed in the tunica mucosa, tunica muscularis, and tunica serosa of proximal, medial, and distal parts, namely in the epithelial cells, smooth muscle cells, and intertubular connective tissue. According to the statistical tests, there were no significant differences in AR expression in the proximal, medial, and distal regions (P>0.05). In conclusion, AR distributed in proximal, medial, and distal parts of ductus deferens of aceh cattle with moderate intensity. This indicates the role of androgen hormones in the function of ductus deferens. Keywords: Ductus deferens, immunihistochemical staining, androgen receptors, aceh cattle.
