Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh varietas dan dosis pupuk npk terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasl tanaman cabai merah. penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (rak) pola faktorial dengan 20 kombinasi perlakuan dan 3 ulangan dan setiap unit percobaan terdiri atas 3 tanaman sehingga jumlah total yang digunakan yaitu 180 tanaman. adapun parameter yang diamati pada penelitian ini antara lain tinggi tanaman 15, 30, dan 45 hspt, diameter batang 15, 30 dan 45 hspt, jumlah cabang produktif, berat buah, jumlah buah per tanaman, panjang buah dan potensi hasil. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat interaksi antara pemberian pupuk npk dengan beberapa varietas cabai yang diujikan. hal ini terlihat dari parameter tinggi tanaman umur 15, 30 dan 45 hspt, jumlah buah per tanaman, berat buah per tanaman, panjang buah per tanaman dan potensi hasil (ton/ha). interaksi terbaik secara keseluruhan terdapat pada varietas pm 999 f1 dengan pemberian dosis pupuk npk 250 kg/ha. kata kunci : produktivitas, kebutuhan hara, interaksi

this study aims to determine the effect of varieties and does of NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of red chili plant. This study used a factorial randomized block designed with 20 treatment combinations and 3 replications with each experimental unit consisted of 3 plants so that the total number used was 180 plants. The parameters observed this study included plant heights of 15, 30, and 45 day after planting (DAP), stem diameters of 15, 30 and 45 DAP, number of productive branches, fruit weight, number of fruit planted, fruit length and yield potential. the results showed that there was an interaction between the dose of NPK fertilizer and several varieties of chili that were tested. this can be seen from the parameters of plant height at 45 DAP, number of fruit planted, weight of fruit planted, length of fruit planted and potential yield (ton/ha). the best overall interaction was found in the PM 999 F1 variety with a dose of 250 kg/ha. keywords: productivity, nutrient requirements, interaction
