Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkonstruksi pengetahuan siswa melalui model pembelajaran sscs. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen yang berbentuk pre eksperimental design dengan bentuk one group pretest posttest design. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas xi ipa sman 12 banda aceh yang kemudian diambil sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling. maka sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas xi mipa 1sebanyak 28 siswa. instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa soal tertulis yang telah diuji validitasnya oleh ahli. pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu persiapan (pretest), perlakuan (treatment), dan akhir (posttest). data konstruksi pengetahuan siswa dianalisis sesuai dengan indikator pada setiap tahapan konstruksi, sehingga didapatkan hasil bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam mengkonstruksi pengetahuannya pada tahapan strategi berpikir dan tahapan refleksi berpikir juga berbeda-beda berdasarkan indikator konstruksi sehingga mencapai keseimbangan. adapun analisis data n-gain didapatkan bahwa rata-rata n-gain siswa adalah 0,76 berada pada kategori tinggi.



Abstract

This research are purposed to construct the student's knowledge through the SCSS learning model. This research uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods in the form of pre-experimental design in the form of one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study were students of class XI IPA SMAN 12 Banda Aceh which were then taken as samples by purposive sampling technique. So the sample in this study were students of class XI MIPA 1 as many as 28 students. The instrument used in this research were written question that have been tested for the validity by experts. Data collection in this research was carried out in three stages that were preparation (pretest), treatment, and final (posttest). The students knowledge construction data were analyzed accordin g to the indicators at each construction stage. So that the result obtained that the ability of students in constructing their knowledge at the stage of thinking strategies and stages of thinking reflection also varies based on construction indicators so as to achieve balance. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the average N-Gain of students was 0.76 in the high category.
