Abstrak keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (k3) sangat penting diterapkan pada suatu perusahaan agar menghasilkan lingkungan kerja yang aman dan nyaman sehingga target perusahaan dapat tercapai. tujuan k3 yaitu untuk memastikan kondisi karyawan sehat jasmani dan rohani agar siap untuk bekerja. penelitian dilakukan di atsiri research center (arc) menggunakan metode hazard and operability study (hazops) untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat risiko kecelakaan kerja yang dapat terjadi. diketahui divisi research and development di arc sangat membutuhkan penerapan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (k3) karena memiliki potensi bahaya dan risiko kecelakaan kerja seperti tertumpah minyak dan terkontaminasi bahan kimiawi. adapun ruang yang diamati pada penelitian ini yaitu ruang laboratorium, ruang produksi dan unit distilasi molekular. hasil dari penelitian diperoleh bahwa terdapat 18 temuan yang terdiri atas 8 temuan positif dan 10 temuan negatif, penyusunan standar operasional prosedur (sop), serta desain safety sign bagi perusahaan. manfaat penelitian bagi perusahaan diantaranya yaitu rekomendasi perbaikan untuk temuan negatif, sop yang dapat diterapkan oleh pekerja dan pemasangan poster safety sign dalam lingkungan arc sebagai promosi akan pentingnya k3 untuk mengurangi kecelakaan kerja pada karyawan. kata kunci : keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (k3), hazard and operability study (hazops), identifikasi potensi bahaya, risiko kecelakaan kerja, standar operasional prosedur (sop), safety sign.

Abstract The practice of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is very important for a company in order to build a safe and comfortable work environment so that targets of the company can be achieved. The purpose of OHS is to ensure that employees are in physically and mentally health to be ready for work. The research was conducted at Atsiri Research Center (ARC) using Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOPS) as method to identify the risk level of accidents that could occur. It is known that the division of research and development at ARC really needs the application of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) because they have potential hazards and risks of accidents such as oil spills and chemical contamination. The rooms observed in this research are laboratory room, production room and molecular distillation unit. The result of the research showed that there were 18 findings consist of 8 positive findings and 10 negative findings, and another results like the making of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and the design of safety signs. This research gave benefits for company such as recommendations for negative findings, SOP that can be applied for workers and the hanging of safety sign posters in the ARC environment as a promotion of the Occupational Health and Safety’s importance to reduce work accidents for employees.
