Ruang perawatan intensive care merupakan unit pelayanan kesehatan yang menerima pasien kritis di rumah sakit. caring merupakan esensi keperawatan yang harus dilakukan oleh perawat dalam melakukan asuhan pelayanan keperawatan. salah satu hal yang harus dimiliki perawat di ruangan intensive care adalah perilaku caring terhadap semua pasien kritis. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku caring perawat di ruang perawatan intensive care rsud meuraxa. jenis penelitian kuantitafif dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu cross sectional. teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode total sampling dengan jumlah responden 50 perawat dalam waktu penelitian 12 april - 20 april. alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner caring behavior inventory (cbi) dengan 42 pertanyaan yang diukur berdasarkan persepsi perawat. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku caring perawat di rsud meuraxa yaitu sebanyak 43 orang (86%) dalam kategori perilaku caring baik, sedangkan pada kategori perilaku caring cukup yaitu sebanyak 7 orang (14%). perilaku caring pada perawat dapat menciptakan kepuasan pasien terhadap pelayanan asuhan keperawatan. rekomendasi penelitian diharapkan perawat dapat terus meningkatkan perilaku caring terhadap semua pasien di setiap ruangan.



Abstract

The intensive care room is a health service unit that accepts critical patients in hospitals. Caring is the essence of nursing that must be done by nurses in carrying out nursing care. One of the things that nurses in the intensive care room must have is caring behavior towards all patients. The purpose of this study was to describe the caring behavior of nurses in the intensive care room at the Meuraxa Hospital. The type of quantitative research with the research design used is cross sectional, the sampling technique uses the total sampling method with the number of respondents being 50 nurseswithin 7 days of the study. Data collection tool in the form of a Caring Behavior Inventory (CBI) questionnaire with 42 questions measured based on nurses' perceptions. The results showed that the caring behavior of nurses in the Meuraxa Hospital was 43 people (86%) in the category of good caring behavior while in the category of sufficient caring behavior as many as 7 people (14%). Caring behavior in nurses can create patient satisfaction with nursing care services. The research recommendation is that nurses are expected to continue to improve caring behavior for all patients in each room.
