Dua dekade setelah tsunami Aceh 2004, caregiver anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK), khususnya anak dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), masih menjadi salah satu kelompok yang paling luput dari perhatian dalam upaya kesiapsiagaan bencana di Indonesia, salah satunya karena minimnya media psikoedukasi yang inklusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menguji kelayakan film pendek Everlasting sebagai media psikoedukasi kesiapsiagaan bencana bagi caregiver ABK. Data pra-produksi dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung terhadap anak berkebutuhan khusus di Gampong Krueng Lam Kareung, Aceh Besar. Kelayakan film diuji melalui dua tahap validasi eksternal, yaitu penilaian panel ahli dalam kompetisi internasional Disaster Short Movie Competition (DSMC) USK Global Award on Disaster Resilience (U-DARE) 3.0, dan validasi ahli oleh seorang ahli di bidang ABK. Film ini meraih Juara Pertama dengan skor total 87,5 dari 100, unggul di antara seluruh peserta pada aspek visual, naskah, dan audio, serta berkategori Baik pada aspek riset. Validasi menunjukkan film memperoleh skor 4 dari 5 pada aspek kelayakan psikologis dan etis (kategori Sesuai), serta skor 3 dari 5 pada aspek isi materi psikoedukasi dan kelayakan media film (kategori Cukup Sesuai). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa film Everlasting layak digunakan sebagai media psikoedukasi kesiapsiagaan bencana yang inklusif bagi caregiver anak berkebutuhan khusus.

Two decades after the 2004 Aceh tsunami, caregivers of children with special needs (CSN), particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), remain among the most overlooked groups in disaster preparedness efforts in Indonesia, partly due to the scarcity of inclusive psychoeducational media. This study aims to design and examine the feasibility of a short film entitled Everlasting as a psychoeducational medium for disaster preparedness targeting caregivers of CSN. Pre-production data were collected through direct observation of children with special needs in Gampong Krueng Lam Kareung, Aceh Besar. The feasibility of the film was assessed through two stages of external validation: evaluation by an expert panel at the international Disaster Short Movie Competition (DSMC) of the USK Global Award on Disaster Resilience (U-DARE) 3.0, and expert validation by a specialist in the field of special needs children. The film achieved First Place with a total score of 87.5 out of 100, outperforming all other participants in the visual, script, and audio aspects, while receiving a Good rating in the research aspect. Validation results indicated that the film scored 4 out of 5 on psychological and ethical feasibility (categorized as Appropriate), and 3 out of 5 on both psychoeducational content and film media feasibility (categorized as Sufficiently Appropriate). These findings suggest that the film Everlasting is feasible for use as an inclusive psychoeducational medium for disaster preparedness among caregivers of children with special needs.
